As I have a light skin tone, I bought a shade with a strong white base! 'Awesome' is a really, really light color with a strong white undertone - it's so sheer and pretty that it could even be used as a base color. Generally, it might look prettier on spring warm-toned individuals. I usually don't apply heavy lip color when doing my makeup, preferring just a very light base lip, and this lipstick was exactly what I was looking for! It's subtly beautiful with a slight fluorescent quality. The actual color is closer to pink than it appears in photos, which can't quite capture its true essence. When you look at it on the official app, it seems to have a slight orange tint, but in reality, it's not like that at all. It's perfect for warm-toned individuals who don't suit orange tones, but also don't quite match with cool pinks. Highly recommended!
ConsBeing a Zero Matte lipstick, it definitely accentuates dead skin cells when applied to dry lips, and there's a bit of pilling. As someone who really loves Rom&nd products and has tried both their gloss tints and matte lips, I can say that the matte formula definitely emphasizes dead skin cells more. The gloss lip leaves less dead skin visible and has more glow (though some pink shades can stain). Personally, these were the downsides I noticed. However, if you're a matte lip enthusiast, I highly recommend it!
TipFor best results, remove all oil from your lips until they feel completely dry. You can use a lip brush as a base, gently spreading the color. Finish by applying a slightly darker shade to the inner part of your lips for a prettier look.
