Skin type: Dry, sensitive / Prone to dermatitis when dry and immunity is low I purchased this cream because the panthenol ingredient works well for me. When I have dermatitis symptoms, applying it provides immediate relief. At the hospital, they only prescribe steroid ointments, but this product has been so effective that I don't need to use those anymore. It instantly soothes itchy and reddened skin caused by dermatitis. It's 100% effective for dermatitis. If my skin is red in the morning, I apply this panthenol cream, cleanse my face (because it's a bit sticky), and then I'm ready to go out. This is the first product I've found that works so quickly for dermatitis, so I plan to repurchase. Compared to Sidmool Panthenol Ampoule: The Cosnori Panthenol Cream provides immediate relief (though the effect diminishes over time - it's for rapid soothing). The Sidmool Panthenol Ampoule has a slower, longer-lasting effect (great for applying before bed). Drawback: It's sticky and heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it before makeup or for those with oily skin. When I applied it morning and night for 2-3 days to soothe dermatitis, I developed small blemishes. For severe dermatitis, don't just apply once. Instead, apply the cream -> rinse with water after 2-3 hours -> reapply the cream. This method works well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 2, 2024
The moisturizing gel-like texture of this cream makes it perfect for summer use. It's gentle on the skin and provides long-lasting hydration (based on summer conditions). I love that it's high in panthenol. This cream seems ideal for dry and combination dehydrated skin types during the warmer months. My younger sibling has oily skin and reported developing whiteheads after using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2024
I had high hopes for this Cosnori ampoule since I loved their other products. It's decent enough to use in the evening skincare routine. Not sure if it's the hydration, but it feels way too sticky. Definitely can't apply makeup over it, and it even caused some blemishes for me. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2024
It feels like a deeply hydrating moisturizer. Great for hydration, absorbs well without any pilling. It seemed to irritate my skin, causing slight redness and itching. I think it might get better with continued use though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2024
There's nothing good to say... It's way too oily and damaged my skin barrier. Disappointed it didn't work for me. I bought this looking for a panthenol product after Bio Heal Bo discontinued theirs, but it seems this doesn't suit me. It's excessively greasy and compromised my skin barrier, so I won't be repurchasing... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2023
This cream has a perfect balance of oil and moisture! It's incredibly hydrating and I don't experience any dryness even in autumn. However, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it a bit too rich for me. Unfortunately, I wake up with an oil overload, which is disappointing. Also, I'd recommend applying it very thinly in the T-zone. I initially applied it generously and ended up with some stubborn blemishes. I think it would work best if you just use a non-greasy toner to even out your skin tone, then apply this cream. It's quite a rich moisturizer, so using multiple products can feel heavy and might cause some pilling, even without makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2023
It's a gel-type product that makes your skin look great after application. You can feel your pores tightening and a protective layer forming on your skin. The finish feels sticky, and it caused some redness on my skin. Also, I think the jar packaging isn't very hygienic. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2023
I snagged this at a great price during a deal. It leaves a nice, firm feeling on the skin after application. I'd recommend using it at night rather than during the day. The texture is quite rich and heavy, making it feel too sticky for morning use. Some ingredient didn't agree with my skin, causing a few small blemishes to appear. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2023
It applies incredibly smoothly with a rich, creamy texture. The consistency reminds me of a super thick yet soft hair gel? The particles seem quite large. My first impression was that its slightly transparent formula would make it easy to apply without feeling heavy. Surprisingly, Hwahae shows it has good ingredients with no concerning components. There's no itching or irritation immediately after application. Strangely, whenever I use this, I get small bumps and blemishes... Even several pustules appear. It doesn't absorb into my skin at all. It feels like applying a very thick mask, but after application, I don't feel any hydration deep in my skin. Instead, it just sits on the surface and then sets like a soft pomade. Because of this, it feels a bit suffocating, like my skin can't breathe. When I apply it generously before bed, I find myself washing off the same amount of product in the morning, as it has just solidified on my skin. Even when I apply a thin layer as the last step of my skincare in the morning, by evening it still feels set like hair gel. On top of that, I always notice new blemishes popping up. All the ingredients are supposed to be good, so why is this happening? I've had clear skin using other products, but starting from the day after I first used this, I kept breaking out the entire time I was using it. I wonder why? I think I'll have to stop using it now. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive or dry skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2023
I was using a whitening cream that felt a bit drying for my dry skin and seemed to make it more sensitive. While searching for a more hydrating option, I found the Panthenol Barrier Cream on sale with free shipping. Hydration power: It provided great moisture for my dry, sensitive skin. It reminded me of the snail cream my mom used to use - that kind of feeling, you know? On a scale, I'd say it's about 2.5 for hydration and 7.5 for moisturization. Even with my dry skin, I didn't feel any deep dryness! (I do apply a thorough skincare routine before cream) Texture: As I mentioned, it's like a snail cream - smooth and slightly elastic. The color is a light apricot with a dewy sheen. When applied, it feels neither too light nor too heavy - more like a moisturizing, slightly rich gel-cream. You can really feel the hydrating power, like a moist, nourishing layer enveloping your skin. Finish: It was stickier than I expected. It reminds me of those old-school jar creams that leave your skin feeling plump and tacky for hours after application. But hey, that's a sign of its excellent moisturizing power, right? Packaging: It comes in a jar container. The body is a sleek, translucent purple, and the lid is so reflective it could be used as a mirror! I was genuinely surprised to see my face when I first opened it. While the rest of the packaging is pretty standard, the mirror-like lid was quite impressive. As mentioned earlier, it does leave a sticky finish and has quite intense moisturizing properties. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. Even though I have dry skin, I'm still a student with a slightly oilier T-zone. After using this product for a few days (I applied it generously as I wasn't sure how much to use at first), I got a pimple on my forehead. A little goes a long way with this cream, so start with a small amount and apply it evenly. You can always add more if needed! Also, I found that applying a light serum beforehand made the cream feel lighter and more hydrating. The products you use before the cream can slightly affect how it applies and feels on the skin.
