It doesn't contain any pore-clogging ingredients, so it doesn't cause blemishes. The price is also quite affordable, making it great for everyday use without breaking the bank. The coverage is pretty decent, and overall, it's a concealer that's hard to find fault with. The applicator tip feels a bit large, which can make it slightly tricky to use on small areas. You might find it helpful to use a separate concealer brush for more precise application. Due to its quick-drying nature, it can sometimes accentuate dead skin cells in winter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2023
Easy to use and blends naturally with your complexion over time Even though it's shade 21 with a peach tone, it looks yellow. It's too matte, causing patchiness and severely emphasizing dead skin cells. For a concealer, it doesn't provide enough coverage. I probably won't repurchase. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2023
I've been using Banila Co's cushions, powders, and cleansing balms to cover dark circles and blemishes, so I trust the brand and decided to try their concealer too! I have a slightly bright 21 shade cool summer skin tone and prefer a natural look! The applicator tip was a bit large, but it actually made it easier to precisely cover the areas I wanted. The color matched my skin perfectly, giving a natural finish without looking too thick or clashing with my base makeup. It covered everything I wanted to conceal, which I'm really happy about. The staying power is great too. It adheres well to the skin without fading, maintaining good coverage throughout the day! Since I prefer a natural look, I don't have any complaints about the coverage. However, those looking for extremely high coverage might find it a bit lacking. One minor issue is that when applied over base makeup, it can slightly emphasize texture - not noticeably, but it might be a bit bothersome for some people. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2023
The pore coverage is reasonably good, and it doesn't seem to settle into fine lines much. The blemish coverage is a bit disappointing. Also, when used on dry areas, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2023
Compared to other concealers, this one has decent ingredients and provides good coverage. It's a solid choice for everyday use. - Skin type: Oily T-zone + Combination dehydrated/sensitive U-zone (When lacking moisture, I get feverish with redness, and if ingredients don't suit me, I develop acne!) Texture: It's extremely drying! If you don't prep your skin properly, it cakes up and emphasizes dead skin cells terribly. Even after applying toner, cream, sunscreen, and cushion foundation, it still felt dry and accentuated flakiness, which was disappointing. Blemishes: It seems to cause whiteheads. At first, I wasn't sure, but I noticed tiny bumps only in areas where I applied this concealer. Not sure if it's due to the dryness or something else. Now I only use a small amount on areas that absolutely need coverage, like pimples or dark circles, avoiding large acne scars or inflamed areas. Color range: It's really unfortunate that it only comes in shades 21 and 23. I use shade 17, and even when applied over cushion foundation, it looks noticeably yellow and doesn't blend well. Please release lighter shades! This concealer is too dark and yellow-toned for those who typically use shades 17-20! It's extremely drying and emphasizes dead skin cells, so it might be better suited for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2023
I didn't expect much coverage due to the good ingredients, but it's surprisingly excellent! When applied around the nose, it really emphasizes dead skin cells. It's a bit matte too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 10, 2023
First off, the adherence was fantastic! I have super sensitive skin that stings when ingredients don't agree with it, but this product caused no irritation whatsoever! I bought it on sale, so the value for money is incredibly satisfying! The only downside is that it slightly emphasizes dead skin cells when applied over blemishes. But other concealers do this too, so it seems unavoidable! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2022
The coverage is pretty good, and it's fairly moisturizing. The shade is on the lighter side. I'm not sure if it's this product or if it just doesn't work well with my cushion, but after a while, the covered areas start to separate. What's worse, it accentuates dead skin cells. This happens even when I've thoroughly prepped my skin. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 13, 2021
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I've always wanted to try the Banila Co Covericious line, so I had high expectations when I was selected for testing. Skin type: Slightly reddish areas, thin skin, no blemishes, oily. Color: As the name suggests, it's a peach color. It's a concealer with more red tones than yellow. I like mixing foundation and concealer. For those with facial redness or occasional flushing, it's best to cover specific areas with Covericious and then apply foundation. It works great for dark circles due to its reddish undertone. People with yellow undertones might be able to apply it all over. Application and coverage: It has a creamy texture, very similar to Kiko foundation. This type of formula adheres thinly to the skin. Covericious applies thinly and has good staying power. Longevity: I deliberately applied it under my mask and wore it for about 6 hours. It held up quite well. The slightly matte finish seems to help it set well. There was a bit of darkening, but not noticeable to others. In conclusion, it was excellent for covering specific areas with dark or yellow tones, and had good staying power. I would consider repurchasing after using it. Matte finish: Being a powder fit, it finishes slightly matte. While this improves staying power and longevity, it might accentuate wrinkles or dead skin cells for those with dry skin. It's fine for areas prone to oiliness, but applying it all over might be challenging depending on the season or skin type. Reddish color: For those with redness, a color other than peach might be better! Additional note: While it seems strong against oil, it does come off around the eyes. It appears weak against moisture. The staying power around the mouth is also low. You might need to build it up in layers. If you apply a thin layer of primer on areas where you want to cover pores before using Covericious, it works like magic. The powdery finish allows for a matte look even on oily areas with large pores! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 13, 2021
♥️The Hwahae Testers Review♥️ 🍎Summary🍎 - Pink base gives a radiant color. - Finishes with a matte texture. - Medium coverage. - Long-lasting. - Doesn't apply thinly. - Can create creasing if applied too thickly. I loved the packaging when I first received it. Some concealers on the market are too thin or small, making them inconvenient to use, but this one has just the right size and thickness, making it easy to open and close. I used shade 21, which has a pink base giving a bright, radiant color. The texture is moisturizing but finishes with a matte feel. As someone with oily skin who personally prefers products with a matte finish, I really liked how this concealer sets to a powder-like finish. It's not too dry in application, making it really pleasant to use. However, those with very dry skin might find it challenging to use during the winter season. I noticed some slight creasing in areas where less oil is produced, like under the eyes. It has decent coverage, though it's not extremely high. Still, it covers redness and small blemishes well, so it's not bad at all. The staying power seems higher than expected. It doesn't apply thinly, so it can feel a bit heavy. If you're not careful with the amount and apply too much, it tends to crease... Especially if you apply foundation first and then layer on even a slightly thick layer of concealer, it seemed to emphasize dead skin cells... When you first apply it, it might feel a bit stiff, but if you spray some mist on your puff before blending, it spreads well and the heavy feeling subsides. Rather than using concealer over foundation, I recommend covering blemishes with concealer first, then applying foundation on top. This method seemed to prevent creasing and improve longevity.
