  I usually don't look good in pink shades, but Kim Yeoju's Collection surprisingly suits me well! It has a subtle chocolate scent when applying, which makes me feel good every time I use it. It's pretty as a blush too. It's truly a versatile daily lip color that works for both warm and cool skin tones, regardless of the occasion!

  Pros

  This seems to work well as a base lipstick for both warm and cool tones. When I used to wear MAC's Mandarin O alone, it would fade quickly, but with this as a base, the color lasts much longer. I wanted a slightly smudgy lipstick effect, and I'm satisfied with this. I'd recommend it more as a base lipstick rather than using it on its own.

  The staying power is slightly disappointing, but overall I'm satisfied with it.

  Since it's a matte type, it might accentuate dry, flaky lips. It's best to prep your lips with a balm first to smooth things out.

  The 21 shade with a deep undertone close to neutral is absolutely gorgeous. It's not too intense, and the slight saturation makes your complexion look radiant when applied. It doesn't lean heavily warm or cool, but if I had to choose, it's slightly on the warmer side.

  I'm not sure about the staying power, and it's not particularly hydrating. However, the color is so beautiful that all is forgiven.

  As someone who's not very knowledgeable about cosmetics, I'm a woman in my early 40s who usually just applies basic skincare and sunscreen. I'm not sure about my skin tone, but I have thin skin with a yellowish tinge, dark spots, and blemishes. I've been using the Kim Yeojoo Collection for about 10 days now! The product name really resonates with me, which I consider a plus point. The price is quite reasonable too, under 10,000 won during the Olive Young sale. First off, I love that the color isn't overwhelming even on bare lips. You can use Kim Yeojoo as a base and layer other lip products on top if you'd like!

  The staying power isn't great. There's also a bit of settling into lip lines. You need to take good care of your lips and apply it carefully for the best results. Also, it tends to smudge a bit on the case... so handle it gently!

  Tip

  I apply lip balm for hydration before using this product! The photo with the flower sticker was taken a few hours after application. The one with the heart sticker was taken in natural light almost immediately after application. The very last photo shows the disastrous state after eating pho and drinking an iced latte!

  I highly recommend this as a warm-toned, radiant pink lip base. If you have a yellow undertone, you might want to pass, but for those with pink undertones, this base is perfect for achieving that Kim Yeo-jung-inspired look.
