The coverage is fantastic! It does an excellent job of concealing redness and other imperfections. The staying power is absolutely incredible. The cushion's scent isn't particularly pleasant. It tends to apply quite thickly, so you need to be careful and pay attention when putting it on. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 31, 2023
I don't usually prioritize coverage, but this cushion foundation gave me such a bright and beautiful complexion that I absolutely loved it! Even when I was wearing masks frequently, it didn't transfer much onto the mask! The sponge had a rather unpleasant odor. While I'm not particularly sensitive to smells, I'd still recommend this product as everything else about it was great, except for the sponge's scent! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2023
My skin tends to be oily in summer but gets dry in winter. At first, I loved how moisturizing this cushion was, but when summer came, it started to slide around on my face due to excess oil and even transferred onto my mask. So I switched to a different cushion. However, as the weather got cooler and my skin became less oily, I decided to give this cushion another try. I'm happy to report that it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells or look cakey. It works great for fall/winter when my skin's oil production decreases! I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the scent isn't very pleasant. Also, Too Cool for School's shades tend to run darker compared to other brands. Even though I got shade #1, it feels similar to or slightly darker than other brands' #21. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2022
As someone with sensitive skin and red blemishes mainly on my cheeks, I'm relieved this didn't cause any breakouts. I've used Too Cool For School's discontinued yellow cushion before and liked it, so I decided to try this one. It's great! It does apply a bit thick, but that means it provides excellent coverage. The scent is... not great. As for the color, I initially bought shade 2, but it was so yellow it looked like actual clay. I switched to shade 1, which starts off a bit light but seems to oxidize and turn my complexion yellowish over time, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2022
It gives a beautiful glow while providing excellent coverage! Even if you just quickly dab on some concealer and apply this, it really covers everything! It goes on moisturizing and hides all blemishes and acne! First off, the shade was too dark for a #21. Also, that distinctive cosmetic smell? There's a slightly stale odor that's really overwhelming.. At first, it was almost unusable.. It's a bit better once you get used to it, but because of this scent, I won't be repurchasing.. And while it initially goes on very dewy and moisturizing, it becomes dry over time.. I wouldn't recommend this for extremely dry skin.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 1, 2022
Combination skin? Almost dry. Bought it after seeing on YouTube that it gives a porcelain-like finish. Coverage: Truly excellent. It's top-tier. I have severe redness, and it covers it all. Color: More orange-based than yellow, but it doesn't make my redness-prone face look redder. Covers everything well. I bought shade 2 Ivory after hearing it was dark, but it's brighter than expected - I'm having regrets. My skin isn't that light, I've tried 23 before but it made my face look too dull, so I've been using 21. However, this Ivory is surprisingly bright on my face. I'm getting used to it though, and after some time it looks more natural. Longevity: Great staying power. It does transfer a bit onto masks, but less than other brands. It stays moisturizing and lasts long. Some say it gets dry over time, but for me, it seems to blend with my skin's natural oils, making it look more natural as time passes. Even if it fades, touching up still looks pretty. I did notice some pilling, but the good coverage makes it less noticeable. Texture: Applies thinner than expected. Moisturizing and spreads well. The downside is that it's hard to control the amount. The cushion is still new, so it's a bit firm... There's some transfer right after application, but after 30 minutes, there's barely any. Even with masks, it only transfers where it directly touches and it's minimal. It's not completely transfer-proof though. Surprisingly, it transfers less than The Face Shop Double Lasting Foundation I used before. It even transfers less than some BB creams with coverage. Pros: High coverage, good longevity, fades beautifully, minimal mask transfer. Cons: The scent is really intense... It's not to my liking. It smells nice in the cushion, but when wearing a mask, it's really unpleasant. There's some pilling, it clings to nose creases. Hard to control the amount. The shade... I made a mistake in my choice. It can be a bit drying. For those with dry skin wanting to try a matte cushion for summer, this semi-matte cushion might be a good option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2022
When I first opened it, I was thrilled by how beautiful the color was. Since I have fair skin, it's hard to find pretty shades, but I was amazed at how lovely the color looked as soon as I applied it to my wrist. The puff was absolutely fantastic - so bouncy and it picked up the foundation perfectly. The case is also gorgeous! The official Too Cool For School website recommended using it with their fixer, so I bought and tried them together. With the fixer, the adherence improved and it barely transferred to my mask. Without the fixer, it didn't adhere as well and transferred to the mask a bit more... Still, I liked that there weren't noticeable imprint marks when I took off my mask. What really surprised me when checking its longevity was that it didn't settle into the areas around my eyes, sides of my nose, around my mouth, or smile lines! I've tried many glow cushions that were either too shiny or so semi-matte you'd wonder if they could even be called 'glow'. This cushion gives a subtle luminous semi-glow with light skincare, and a luxurious true glow with thorough skincare. As a teenager who can't resist trying new makeup products, I think I've tried quite a few glow cushions, and this might be the best one I've used so far! There was a bit of darkening, though not severe. I didn't notice it until I wiped off half my cheek and reapplied, but comparing it to right after application, it had definitely darkened slightly. However, unless you specifically check for darkening, it maintains a bright look similar to when first applied, and since the darkening isn't severe, I found this acceptable. But the scent... At first, there was a nice floral scent, but whether it's because I used it with the fixer or because the fragrance changed after opening, it now smells a bit like saliva, similar to the Urban Decay fixer. If they could just change the scent, I'd be 100% willing to repurchase this product! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2022
The packaging design is beautiful, and I love the Inner Glow it gives. It seems to slightly reduce redness too. It might cause a bit of darkening, and the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2021
The absorbs well, adheres nicely, has good coverage, and the color is great. As time passes, it gives a more natural and translucent skin appearance. The staying power is impressive. It's a solid choice for most, though those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. For combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types, it's perfect for seasonal changes and winter use. It can settle into fine lines around the eyes and create a thick skin appearance. Not suitable for touch-ups (you need to remove and reapply). It may look patchy on dry skin when it's dehydrated. And honestly, the scent is really unpleasant... The smell makes me hesitant to do touch-ups. The puff that comes with it is also slightly disappointing. When your skin is dry, apply a hydrating sunscreen first. For a matte finish, use a mineral or hybrid sunscreen before application. Using a puff that suits your skin type can also enhance the results.
