✔️The Hwahae Testers Review✔️ Skin type: Dry, occasional blemishes, skin condition fluctuates with overall health. I used to use Polar Choice foam cleanser. 👍🏻 Packaging: I've always been concerned about water getting inside the cap of cleansing foams, making them unsanitary. This one has a small opening and a sturdy cap, so water doesn't get in easily. 👍🏻 Blackheads: I'm not sure if it's because of this product or just my imagination, but it feels like it's effective at removing sebum. I usually only use cleanser in the morning, and in the evening or afternoon when I get home, I use oil cleanser followed by this cleanser for double cleansing since I wear sunscreen. Somehow, I feel like my blackheads are reducing even on days when I don't use oil cleanser. 👍🏻 Mildly acidic: I used to use Polar Choice which was also mildly acidic, but this one seems even gentler. When I was tired, the mildly acidic cleanser would sometimes make my skin tingle, but this one doesn't do that much. To be honest, it's just a decent cleanser without any standout pros or cons. It's not incompatible with my skin, and I'm using it well enough. While I'll continue to use the product I received as a tester until it's finished, I don't particularly feel inclined to purchase it myself.
👎🏻 Dryness: I was used to my previous cleanser not leaving my skin feeling too squeaky clean, so it was hard to adapt to this one. When I wash my face in the morning, it quickly becomes dry, so I need to apply skincare products promptly. It felt more drying than when I used Polar Choice. However, this is common with most foam cleansers, so it's not a significant drawback. I'm mentioning dryness as a con only if I had to point out something. 👎🏻 Cleansing power: It's not bad, but the cleansing effectiveness seems just adequate. It might be challenging to completely remove sunscreen with this alone. Overall, it's a decent product without any major pros or cons.
The first photo shows my skin before using the product, and the second photo shows my current skin condition after using it from the 6th to the 17th. If you're looking for a basic, mild acidic foam cleanser, I'd recommend this one.
