Roundlab Soybean Serum Review I started drinking soybean milk a few days ago, and was surprised to win this event! Now my skin gets to enjoy soybeans too. To summarize, this is an essence that focuses on hydration with added anti-aging benefits. My skin type is sensitive and combination dehydrated. I experience deep dryness during seasonal changes, so I've added essences, emulsions, and creams to my summer routine. I felt my previous essence lacked hydration, so I've been searching for new skincare. If you're in a similar situation, this review might help! Pros: 1. Hydration: This is the serum's main selling point. Using it this fall, I noticed a significant improvement in deep dryness compared to my previous essence. It's amazing... I used to have severe dryness around my eyes, causing makeup to flake, but this essence solved that issue! 2. Finish: It's refreshing. The serum absorbs instantly, leaving no residue. With mask-wearing, sticky skin is a no-go... I even used to blot with tissues. This serum's light finish is perfect. 3. Scent/Texture: It has a light soy milk color and is almost fragrance-free! As someone sensitive to scents, I think others like me will appreciate this. I prefer skincare without artificial fragrances, even floral ones. 4. Gentleness: I went through a period of extreme sensitivity, which has passed. Still, fearing a relapse, I always scrutinize ingredients before purchasing. While using this, I experienced no blemishes or irritation.
Cons: 1. Ingredients: There's one pore-clogging ingredient, which isn't ideal for my oily skin. While it didn't cause blemishes, I think it would be better without it. Squalane is also high on the ingredient list, which I know can be problematic for acne-prone skin. It would be perfect if these were removed. 2. Anti-aging effects: After only two weeks, it's hard to tell. I didn't expect much, but I honestly can't say I notice a difference. However, my skin definitely looks more radiant. While I can't confirm the anti-aging benefits, my skin certainly feels smoother.
Overall: If you already have an essence you love, you probably don't need this. Skincare is personal, and what works best for you is always the best choice, regardless of ingredients. However, if you're looking for a new hydrating essence to combat deep dryness or rough skin during seasonal changes, I recommend giving this a try!
