When I first used it, I felt that the irritated and reddish skin from breakouts was soothed. Recently, I've been having continuous breakouts, so I've been using tea tree oil. I'm not sure if it's due to the tea tree oil or this soap, but on the day I first used this soap, the redness and irritation were calmed. Compared to other soaps, this one has 20g more, so it's thicker and seems like it will last a long time without breaking down. The Noni soap and Houttuynia cordata soap are 100g.
Cons
That contains coloring agents. It doesn't seem good for the skin, but why? The ingredients don't have tamanu oil, but they say Hodong's oil is tamanu oil. On Hwahae, it says coconut oil can cause acne for oily skin, but it's not that coconut oil remains in the soap, but the fatty acid sodium salt formed by the saponification reaction of coconut oil is fine and doesn't cause any trouble.
Tip
I often feel that my skin has low cleansing power with soap, so I either wash twice or leave the soap lather on my skin, especially around my nose.

The Tone28 soap I've been using for years, but this is my first time trying the Hwahae soap. When I opened it and saw the color, it looked like a deep green that reminded me of plant sap, so I wasn't too enthusiastic about it visually. However, the scent is like fresh herbs or the forest, which is quite refreshing. It lathers well and cleanses gently. I have dry, sensitive skin and sometimes struggle with breakouts around my chin, so I'm hoping this will provide some help, though I'm not expecting too much beyond good cleansing from a soap. I think I'll continue using it. :)
Cons
I haven't found any unsatisfactory aspects yet, but if I had to point one out, it would be that the soap's color is too dark a green, so the first impression wasn't great.
Tip
Placing it in a wire mesh strainer can help prevent softening.
