Despite being a chemical sunscreen, it's not greasy and the ingredients aren't bad, which is really great. Compared to mineral sunscreens, it definitely feels more hydrating while still finishing with a soft, matte texture. I liked that I could apply it comfortably without it feeling heavy like a regular emulsion.
It seems chemical sunscreens just don't work for me. While mineral sunscreens can be thick, drying, and leave a white cast, they never irritated my skin or caused redness. But with this chemical sunscreen, my eyes stung and my skin immediately turned red. It really seems that even with their drawbacks, mineral sunscreens are indeed better for my skin!
