It seems gentle on blemish-prone skin. It applies smoothly and absorbs well. I wish it had more coverage for evening out the complexion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2022
I've been using Whige for a long time, and its biggest advantage is that it really applies smoothly like an emulsion. Even with my super sensitive skin, it causes no irritation. While there's nothing particularly disappointing, I do wish it had a bit more of a brightening effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 21, 2022
It's quite lightweight, I must say. I really tried to find something negative, but there's nothing! It's genuinely moisturizing and there's no white cast (which is expected since it's not a mineral sunscreen). It's sticky. Very sticky... The issue isn't just hair sticking to it, it literally turns you into a human flypaper. There's no tone-up effect, which is a bit disappointing. I was hoping for some complexion correction along with sun protection. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2022
I've always used mineral sunscreen, but as I've gotten older, I noticed fine lines appearing due to dryness, which scared me into trying chemical sunscreen. It's definitely more moisturizing! It feels like applying a cream, haha. Unfortunately, it caused a burning sensation and tingling on my skin. I was surprised because everyone said it was gentle. Also, since I don't wear makeup, I feel a bit self-conscious as it doesn't provide any coverage, leaving my bare face exposed! No matter how gentle a product is supposed to be, there can always be someone like me whose skin doesn't agree with it. If it doesn't work for you, don't hesitate to pass on it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2021
I've always wanted to use the entire Hygge line because their ingredients seem gentle, so I took advantage of a sale to purchase. True to its name, it's definitely a moisturizer. It has a thin emulsion texture with absolutely no white cast, just like a typical emulsion. I'd recommend this to those who prefer a light skincare routine. Even with just one application, it leaves your skin feeling hydrated. It's a bit disappointing that there's hardly any white cast - I would have preferred some tone-evening effect. It might leave a slightly oily feeling in summer. It doesn't absorb quickly, so it takes a bit of time before you can move on to applying makeup. If you feel oily after applying sunscreen, try gently pressing this product into your skin with your palms or lightly blotting with a tissue. This will help your next skincare product absorb better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 17, 2021
After using it for about two months, I have to say it's incredibly hydrating and gentle! Personally, I prefer mineral sunscreens, but they often feel too matte and stiff, making my dry skin even more parched. Using this moisture-rich sunscreen finally makes my skin feel alive again! I apply this product as a base and then layer a mineral sunscreen on areas where I'm particularly concerned about freckles or dark spots. I'm not sure if it's okay to combine organic and mineral sunscreens, but it works well for me. I wish there was a product as hydrating as this one but with mineral filters! As someone with dry skin, I'm very satisfied with how moisturizing and smooth this is. Since it's a renewed product, I trust it's been improved and I'm looking forward to using it more. Thank you so much for the adorable sample set! It made me feel like I received a gift! This sunscreen doesn't have any whitening or tone-up effects. While this isn't a downside for me, it might be disappointing for those looking for these benefits. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2021
It's incredibly watery, lightweight, and absorbs well. The moisturizer spreads easily and sinks right into the skin. Hmm, it doesn't provide any complexion correction, which could be a drawback or an advantage depending on your preference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 17, 2021
1. First off, it suits my skin type well, so I'm currently using it. I'm not a fan of sunscreens with a white cast, but this product applies more like a moisturizer? It feels great when I put it on. 2. Even though it's an organic sunscreen, I love that the ingredients are gentle on the skin! 3. I think it's great that it contains cypress water, which is good for calming the skin. 4. Once I finish this, I'm planning to purchase it with my own money! 1. It might be a bit too rich for hot summer use, so it's probably better suited for cooler seasons. 2. While it's fine for me, those looking for a product that evens skin tone might find this disappointing. 3. Price-wise, it could be a bit burdensome if it's not on sale. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2021
1. No irritation: As someone whose face usually flips out when applying sunscreen, causing major stress, this non-irritating sunscreen that doesn't cause any reactions is truly a gift. I was worried because it has so many ingredients, even though I checked for any incompatibilities before applying. But I'm truly moved to have discovered such a great product through The Hwahae Testers. 2. Moisturizing, absorbs well, no white cast: It lives up to its name in terms of hydration. It absorbs beautifully. It doesn't pill and leaves no white cast, making it perfect to apply before makeup! 3. Compact design: Not only does it look pretty, but unlike typical sunscreens that are flat and bulky, this product is slim, making it super convenient to carry around! 4. Fragrance-free: There's nothing bothersome about it. 5. Paper packaging: It came packaged with paper tape and paper cushioning material. I really appreciate and value these small efforts! I'm using it with such satisfaction that I'm willing to repurchase it with my own money once I run out. I'm not sure, but... the price seems like it might be high? Oh, it is expensive. Also, since it has zero white cast and applies transparently, it doesn't provide any tone correction, so it's not enough if you want to wear just sunscreen instead of makeup! It's perfect for use before applying makeup! If you want to wear just sunscreen without makeup, try applying this transparent sunscreen and then a tinted powder like Eglips' black No Sebum Pact. That should give you somewhat of the look you're after! For those whose skin reacts badly to sunscreen alone, try applying your skincare thoroughly before the sunscreen, including a moisturizer! It'll be much less irritating. (According to Min Dongseon's channel) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2021
1. Super moisturizing! You can feel the hydration - From the moment you apply it, it glides on smoothly with a moisturizing feel, as if you've just used a hydrating cream It absorbs gently without any tightness or surface residue I have oily skin so I might not notice it as much, but I think it would be great for those with combination to dry skin I should get my friend with dry skin to try it out 2. Gentle on sensitive skin with no irritation - Usually, I get itchy when using sunscreens, especially those with mineral filters, but this one felt as comfortable as applying an emulsion 3. Excellent absorption - If they hadn't told me it was a sunscreen, I would have thought it was a moisturizer! That's how smoothly it applies 4. No white cast - This could be a pro or con depending on preference, but it doesn't leave a white cast, maintaining your natural complexion 5. Not overly greasy - I have extremely oily skin. Yes, that's right. But this didn't make me look excessively shiny I think it has a good oil and moisture balance that would work well for combination dehydrated skin 6. Eco-friendly packaging - Personally, this was my favorite aspect Usually, I feel guilty when ordering online, but receiving this product in paper packaging made me feel grateful To be honest, there aren't many downsides If I had to nitpick, I'd say it doesn't offer any complexion correction These days, when I go out without makeup, I prefer sunscreens with a slight brightening effect It helps me look more presentable even without makeup This product doesn't have that, so you'll need to apply separate makeup for skin coverage It's so moisturizing, it works great as a makeup base I have oily skin, so I don't use many base products But applying essence, then this as a base, followed by foundation creates a beautifully hydrated skin look
