This night balm has a thicker, more solid texture than a typical night cream. When you rub it between your palms, it melts like an oil and absorbs well into the skin. It feels more concentrated and nourishing than a regular night cream. Like most Carol Priest products, it's organic with high-quality ingredients, making it suitable for sensitive skin without causing irritation. I purchased this from Carol Priest's official website, but the product surface was strangely uneven, as if someone had scratched it with a spatula. When I inquired about it, I received a somewhat unconvincing response that the texture can vary depending on the harvesting season of the ingredients. Usually, new products have a smooth surface, so I'm not sure how this could happen. The attached photo was taken immediately after opening the product when I first received it. Also, the fragrance is quite different from the Neroli Orantium serum. While the facial serum has a subtle, pleasant floral scent, the night balm's fragrance is rather peculiar.
