While it looks like a deep purple, when applied it doesn't come out too intense. Instead, it enhances your natural lip color, leaving your lips incredibly moisturized with a glossy finish that gives you a lively appearance. It contains balm ingredients, so you don't need to apply a separate lip balm for hydration. The staying power isn't very long, so you need to reapply frequently. I didn't realize it before, but after checking the ingredient list, I'm hesitant about repurchasing.
