The color is absolutely gorgeous! I actually bought this at a clearance sale for a great price, thinking it was a different shade. But it turned out to be such a beautiful color that I use it almost daily!

Black Rouge never seems to release cool-toned colors... They have a lot of medium-chroma, old-fashioned shades.

Plump but not sticky!!! I highly recommend Grapefruit Syrup for deep undertone bright, deep undertone true, and gal warm true tones! It's a vibrant grapefruit color that would be great for warm-toned folks. And the formula? What sorcery is this??? I've only tried Black Rouge's matte lips before, but wow... their glow lip is a hidden gem! The outer packaging makes it easy to check the color, and the applicator has a teardrop shape that's convenient for outlining the lips. With its hollow center, it allows for easy control of the amount applied. You can achieve a plump, voluminous look, and I absolutely recommend it for its vivid color paired with a clear, syrupy glow.
