I always find myself trusting and using Beplain products! While it's difficult to write an accurate review due to the small size and limited use, this cream has a slightly thick texture with a rich feel. It seems suitable for dry skin types, though it might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin during summer. The high oil content is a bit disappointing for me. Even though I have dry skin, I don't particularly prefer products with a lot of oil. I wish they could reduce the oil content and increase the hydration level. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2024
The hydration is incredible! It's not a watery moisturizer, but has a rich, thick texture that's perfect for dry skin types or winter use. When I apply this cream, I can feel my skin improving. For seasons other than winter, I found it too rich for my skin, which made me hesitant to use it. A friend of mine with extremely dry skin tried it once and absolutely loved it. I think this product is ideal for those with dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2023
The chamomile seemed to suit my skin well, so I gave it a try. The hydration was quite good. Maybe it was because of the ceramides, but I didn't really like it. It felt a bit too rich, and while the moisturizing effect was good, I didn't get much of a feeling of dewiness. My skin wasn't in great condition when I used this, so that might have been a factor. It also felt like it was sitting on top of my skin rather than absorbing well. I think it would provide decent hydration if used in autumn or during seasonal changes, rather than winter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2023
Absorbs well: I felt it was quickly absorbed. It's not overly hydrating, but there's a slight richness to it. Ingredients: It suited me well as it doesn't contain any harmful components. Hydration: For my combination dehydrated skin, this alone isn't enough in winter. While it has some richness, the oil and moisture balance wasn't sufficient to feel truly moisturized, so I had to layer it multiple times. Be careful not to apply too much before makeup, as it might cause pilling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2022
My personal criteria for evaluating moisturizers: ✓ Balanced oil and moisture without feeling greasy ✓ Long-lasting hydration ✓ Non-sticky finish without residue ✓ Absorbs well without pilling ✓ Doesn't clog pores Overall: It scores 4 points based on these criteria, but unfortunately, it didn't suit my sensitive skin, so I gave it a final score of 3. 👉Texture/Scent It's a pale yellow, unscented cream. The texture is closer to a balm than whipped cream. 👉Application Since it's closer to a balm texture, it doesn't spread super easily. However, this is only when applied alone or after toner. When applied over an ampoule that's packed with hydration, it glides on smoothly. The application isn't particularly disappointing. 👉Oil-Moisture Balance Personally, it felt like a 40% moisture, 60% oil ratio, but the oiliness felt more like nourishment than greasiness, which was nice. 👍Moisturizing Power As expected from a moisturizer, it's quite hydrating. When I wake up, my skin isn't dry at all. It feels soft on the surface and moist underneath. However, it's not an intense moisturizer, so those with very dry skin might find it insufficient for winter. For my combination-dry skin, the hydration level was satisfactory. 👍Non-sticky It doesn't pill or feel sticky on the skin. While the finish does feel slightly oily, it's more of a soft oiliness rather than a sticky one. If you can be patient until it's fully absorbed, your skin will feel velvety smooth. 👍Hygienic Tube Packaging I really dislike jar packaging... I love that Beplain releases all their creams in tube form! ✅Oiliness and Shine While the oil-moisture balance is good, it does feel a bit greasy during absorption. After it's fully absorbed, the finish is nice and velvety, but before that (for about 1-2 hours), it can look quite shiny. Those with oily skin should be cautious. ✅Lack of Moisture While it's moisturizing, there's not enough hydration if you apply it right after toner. Make sure to use a hydrating ampoule before this cream! Applying it directly after toner can cause dehydration. ✅Caused Blemishes :( I had to stop using it after only two days of morning and evening use. I was excited because I liked how it felt and its moisturizing effect, but it's such a shame... My skin didn't completely break out, but I got quite a few blemishes on both cheeks, so I decided to stop using it. Now I'm using it as a hand cream instead. I'm not sure if it's because it clogged my pores or if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 11, 2022
The ingredients are excellent. Although I'm not an expert on ingredients, even at a glance they seemed high-quality, so I purchased it without even trying a tester. No blemishes occurred. The texture is heavy and thick. It's difficult to squeeze out of the tube and harder to apply quickly and smoothly compared to thinner formulas. Lacks hydration. Looking at the ingredients list, you'd expect it to be full of moisture, but when applied, it oddly feels more oily than hydrating. There's a sense of deep dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2022
While it doesn't feel as light as water, it absorbs well with a rich texture. The scent was close to unscented, I think. It didn't cause any blemishes on my acne-prone skin. I couldn't really feel much hydration. It seems to have a slightly rich feel. I used what seemed like a gratis sample and found the product to be decent. If Hwahae ever offers By Plain products for just the cost of shipping, it might be worth trying out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2022
Hydration power As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually only use creams with high moisture content. However, this product lives up to its name as an intense moisturizing cream. Its rich texture immediately gives the impression that it's focused on hydration. Applying it in the order of toner, hydrating serum, and then this intense moisturizing cream helps prevent moisture evaporation and maintains hydration even in the dry winter months. Fragrance-free I hardly noticed any scent, which I, as someone who prefers unscented skincare, really appreciated. Rich texture Being a moisturizing cream, it has a rich feel. If you don't control the amount well, those with combination skin might experience an oil overload. Apply after a hydrating product to lock in moisture! The texture doesn't feel very hydrating on its own, so it might feel lacking in moisture if used alone. Apply a small amount over a hydrating serum or other moisture-rich product to seal in the hydration and make it last longer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2021
* It's truly a nourishing cream with incredible hydration power * Despite my sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes * It's more on the rich side than hydrating, so you need to apply a hydrating serum before using this - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2021
The pleasant scent, moisturizing effect, and how well it absorbs are truly fantastic! I was looking for a hydrating product for winter, and after applying my toner, just one layer of this keeps my skin feeling hydrated until morning. I was a bit disappointed that it felt more oily than hydrating. It's fine for winter, but I don't think I could use it in summer. You need to apply a thin layer and let it absorb. If you apply too much, it feels like it sits on top of the skin.
