This is such a grateful product that has introduced me to the world of solid-type shampoos. I have a dry scalp and my hair is long and sparse, so it's unmanageable without using a conditioner. I suddenly started getting dandruff on the front of my scalp, and it kept getting worse over time. As I'm quite particular about ingredients, I skipped the dandruff-improving shampoos and found this gentle one instead. I've been using it for 6 months now, and the dandruff completely disappeared not long after I started using it. I'm using the same brand's conditioner bar as well, and the amount of hair clogging the drain has significantly decreased. The lather is great with just a small amount, the cleansing power is excellent, and there's no plastic waste, which I love even more. Compared to the Tone 28 long hair wash, the Vegan Glow has much richer and more dense lather, though Tone 28 is slightly less stiff. However, Tone 28 causes more eye irritation and hair loss, and its formula is a bit softer. The Vegan Glow seems to last longer, causes less eye irritation, and has a firmer formula.
Cons
Using just the shampoo bar makes my hair very stiff. But I always used a conditioner even when using liquid shampoos.
Tip
Using the same brand's conditioner bar after shampooing makes the stiffness go away and leaves my hair feeling smooth and supple.
