Since it has a velvet finish, which is close to matte, if you want to achieve the trendy moisturized lip look or the 'tanghulu' effect that's popular right now, you can apply Toridén lip balm first and then this product on top. Or vice versa - apply this product first and then the Toridén lip balm. This combo gives you that fashionable dewy lip look. Lately, I've been using this product as a blush as well.

If there were any downsides, I probably wouldn't have been using the same product for over 5 years! Haha!

I've been using 3CE Velvet Lip Tint for over 5 years now. The Velvet line applies so smoothly and the color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. The 'Like Gentle' shade is perfect as a base, but it's also beautiful on its own for a subtle look! Unlike some velvet formulas that can make your lips feel dry or emphasize dead skin cells, 3CE doesn't have that issue at all! These days, I'm even using it as a blush and it works wonderfully.

This lip product absorbs beautifully with an incredibly smooth application. It's perfect for those who love a nude lip look, as the shade closely matches natural lip color. I appreciate how the subtle tint doesn't leave noticeable marks after eating. It gives a natural, healthy glow to your lips. The slightly sweet scent is a delightful bonus!

I tend to wipe it off easily, especially when drinking from a water glass. It would be great if the longevity was a bit stronger.

The color is so pleasing to me that I'm on my third purchase and still using it. It's hard to find similar colors when trying other shades. Also, since it has no pearl and is matte, it looks a bit more sophisticated and personally suits me well.

When I get tired of the color, I mix it with Etude House water tint

When I wear this alone as a full-lip color, it's too warm and makes me look like a grandpa. So I apply a mauve shade underneath and then add the burgundy lip color in a gradient!

1. The color is so beautiful!! The lovely burgundy color is not too cool or too warm. It's moderately neutral, but it also has a slight warmth to it, which is a bit of a pity, but overall, the neutral burgundy color tone is pleasing to me!!
(I'm between cool and warm, and when I wear burgundy, it lights up like a fluorescent type haha)

2. The texture is so soft and pillowy!! It feels like a cloud blanket on my lips lol
The other lipstick I tried before felt like a silk curtain, but this one is different. Personally, I liked the 3CE one better!! But that one dried too fast 😢

It wipes off as soon as I take a sip through a straw, and it seems to get removed easily with any activity. It doesn't seem to suit me very well.

I usually go out with a bare face, so this color seems to be good for wearing alone. I apply it on days when my lip color is very faint.

The formula is soft, so it doesn't have high staying power and can be easily removed.

The color is beautiful. It works great as a base, and applying a darker shade on top is perfect! It's also good for using as a blush or under-eye eyeshadow.

If you exfoliate your lips before applying and use a concealer or cushion to neutralize your lip color, and then apply it, it will be absolutely amazing.

For those with a bit of lip color, it may not show up well, so you'll need to layer it on to get the full effect. And the staying power is a bit on the weaker side, it seems.

It applies very smoothly and is the perfect base lip color for me, who loves fall-inspired shades!! And if you want to add a little glow to your bare face, you can apply it without any burden.

The color is not very pronounced, requiring multiple layers, but it accentuates flaky skin excessively. It also doesn't blend well with other tints, making it an ambiguous product for me to use as a base or on its own. The strong orange undertones don't suit me well, even though I have a warm skin tone.

When I wore this on its own as shade 21, the whiteness stood out more than the arm swatch, making my complexion look quite pale and bloodless, which was concerning. Unless you have very fair skin, it's difficult to wear this alone. You absolutely need to apply it over a base.

Firstly, 3CE has an amazing ability to produce colors that outshine even most department store brands.
The color is just right to be used as a base lip, not distinguishing between warm and cool tones.
I tried it on my autumn-warm toned friend who has shade 13, and it came out beautifully bright and clear.
As for me, shade 21, I used this as a base and it blended well with both warm and cool-toned point lips.
It applies in a blurry and soft manner, and the thin tip allows for precise application along the lip line.
