I'm writing this review as a member of The Hwahae Testers, giving you my honest opinion. Skin condition: With my period approaching, I've been getting a few pustular pimples. While I experience dryness depending on the season, my T-zone has a slight oiliness. My skin is generally resilient and doesn't easily develop blemishes from cosmetics. ❤️ Application: As a serum containing oil, it's neither too light nor too heavy. After massaging it in, the particles spread well and absorbed nicely. ❤️ Hydration: Even with just using toner pads, double layers of toner, and this serum, I didn't feel extremely dry. However, it fell short of living up to its 'overnight' title (from a dry skin user's perspective). At night, I applied this serum and added a moisturizer to areas prone to wrinkles like around the eyes, mouth, and between the brows. During the day, using just this serum under makeup didn't leave my skin feeling dry (with a hydrating sunscreen and semi-matte foundation). ❤️ Texture: Since it's an oil-infused serum, it doesn't leave your skin feeling powdery or just moisturized after absorption. While there was no shine, the finish felt slightly elastic. ❤️ Packaging: I love the heavy glass bottle that lets you see the contents. The pump design with a twist-lock feature prevents air contact, preserving the product. The amount dispensed per pump is just right, which I found very satisfactory. ❤️ I appreciated the oil+serum concept, eliminating the need for two separate applications. It's like a skincare diet, reducing the number of product applications!

❤️ Despite its 'overnight' title, it wasn't intensely moisturizing enough for my dry skin. Particularly, as I used it during a seasonal change, I needed to apply an additional moisturizer. ❤️ Personally, I don't find this product to be cost-effective for me.

❤️ Since it's an oil+serum concept, I made sure to pat it in thoroughly for better absorption. ❤️ At night, I used an extra pump compared to daytime application.
