The ingredients derived from Centella asiatica help soothe the skin and have good absorption properties. If the product's dispenser is a pump type, it would have been convenient to apply a toner or face pack. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 7, 2024
Please, just buy it! It's absolutely amazing. It has a slight calming effect. There's honestly nothing bad about it. I highly, highly recommend it! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2024
I love it! This toner is going to be my go-to from now on. Other toners I've tried would strangely cause a pimple to pop up the next day, so I'd just stopped using toners altogether. But after falling in love with the Rovectin Cica mask, I decided to give this a try, and it's perfect for my skin. It has a great calming effect, and if I soak a cotton pad and leave it on my skin for a bit, it really helps reduce redness. It works hard for my skin! I've been using it for over a week now, and I still haven't found anything to complain about. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2024
It absorbs well when patted gently onto the skin. Seems great for calming sensitive skin. Apply immediately after cleansing with light tapping motions, and you'll feel your skin become beautifully hydrated. The container is a bit inconvenient. It's rather rigid, making it tricky to control the amount of product dispensed. For easier application, try transferring it to a spray bottle. It's much more convenient and effective that way. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2023
This has been my holy grail for years - I've gone through so many bottles I've lost count! I'm at the point where I feel anxious without it, so I always stock up on multiple bottles when purchasing. I'm leaving this review because I've seen such amazing results in calming redness, flushing, and blemishes while using this toner. The texture is watery, but it feels surprisingly hydrating when applied to the face. It leaves a slight richness after application. I usually break out from products that are too rich, but this one isn't overly so, allowing me to use it comfortably for hydration. While it may sting a bit if it gets in your eyes and has a scent that might be hit-or-miss for some, I don't mind these aspects because the effects are so good. In summer, I use it once after cleansing, and in fall/winter, I apply it twice. For an incredibly soothing effect, I highly recommend trying a toner pack using this Cica Care Balancing Toner with half a cotton pad soaked in Centella Asiatica extract. It's amazingly calming every time I use it - I'm always impressed by how quickly it soothes my skin! There's not much to dislike, but you should definitely stock up when it's on sale! The regular price is a bit on the expensive side. I recommend purchasing during big sales events like Rovectin's Black Friday or when there are major discounts on Hwahae! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2023
This toner works wonders for me as I've found cica products to be a great match for my skin. When used as a toner pack, it really calms my skin! However, due to its lightweight formula, it might not be enough on its own to combat deep dryness. I recommend following up with a serum or cream for best results. Despite this, I've seen such great effects from using it as a toner pack that I'll definitely keep using it! Occasionally, there's a slight tingling sensation when applying, which might be off-putting for first-time users! Try using it as a toner pack and then layer it again! It really boosts hydration. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2023
The Rovectin Cica Care Balancing Toner worked wonders for me. As someone with super sensitive skin, this product really helped calm my skin and improve my blemishes. The cica ingredient provides deep hydration and alleviates dryness. Among all the toners I've used, this one absorbs the most refreshingly, and I felt it even brightened my complexion. By supplying ample moisture to my skin, it prevented dryness-related blemishes. I noticed my skin condition improving and becoming healthier overall. However, it's worth noting that results may vary depending on individual skin types. But from my experience, I can confidently say it's an excellent product. Compared to other toners, the scent of this one felt quite strong. While it's a matter of personal preference, those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it slightly uncomfortable. 1. Cica mask: To enhance the soothing effect on your skin, try using a cica mask after applying the Rovectin Cica Care Balancing Toner. Cica masks are known to calm the skin and brighten the complexion, making them a great complement to this toner. 2. Ampoule mixing: Experiment by mixing the toner with compatible ampoules. For instance, adding a few drops of Vitamin C or Niacinamide ampoule can provide extra nourishment to your skin. 3. Refrigeration: Storing the toner in the fridge can give a pleasantly cool sensation when applied. This is especially refreshing in summer and can boost its skin-soothing properties. 4. Multi-purpose use: The Rovectin Cica Care Balancing Toner isn't just for your face. It can be applied to other parts of the body, particularly areas that are dry or itchy, to help soothe the skin. 5. Cotton pad application: Instead of applying the toner directly with your hands, try using a cotton pad. For best results, leave it on like a mini-mask for a few minutes to allow better absorption. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 10, 2023
+ (24-06-10) I've used more than six bottles. I tried other products for a while because I heard cica ingredients could be irritating, but nothing compares to this. It's so hydrating that I'd call it my holy grail - my skin feels comfortable. Excellent for soothing and preventing blemishes. Highly recommended for sensitive, acne-prone skin. + It's perfect for thin skin prone to breakouts! I'm on my third bottle. My skin lacks moisture and has trouble regulating oil. I used this when my skin was getting red and irritated due to indoor heating drying it out in winter. >I highly recommend it for similar skin types. It has an excellent calming effect on irritated, sensitive skin. It's so hydrating that you could finish your routine with just toner and essence. The nearly fragrance-free scent is also satisfying. >While the volume isn't small, it's a watery liquid that runs out faster than you might expect. Soak a cotton pad generously and gently swipe along the skin's texture. You can also pour a sufficient amount into your hands and pat it in for absorption. It's also great to use on a sheet mask for a soothing treatment. +I've been using it consistently. It's the best for calming the skin! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2022
I've used about 6 bottles of this. It's a true water-based toner. In winter, I apply it twice followed by a cream, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and wonderful. The soothing effect is absolutely fantastic. March 1, 2025 I'm still using it regularly. After absorption, there's a slight residue on the surface compared to before, but it's not overly rich. I'm still enjoying it. The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. There's a slight fragrance, but I personally don't mind it. It works great as a skin pack too. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinNov 15, 2022
I love that it's gentle and seems to have a soothing effect! It's also non-sticky, so I think those with oily skin will enjoy using it too. The scent is almost undetectable, so I'd recommend it to those who dislike fragranced products! It's not the most hydrating type, so I wouldn't really recommend it for those with dry skin! You can also soak a cotton pad with it and use it as a mask!
