I bought it to use as an over-lip product, and the color is stunningly beautiful. It's a shame the camera can't fully capture its real-life beauty... I applied it directly over my natural lip color, and there's no emphasis on dead skin cells. It shows up as a lovely indie pink nude. I always take unfiltered, original photos of lip products. The shade has a great vibe and is perfect for daily wear. After so many warm-toned or winter cool-toned lip products, they've finally released a summer cool-toned one. Please, I beg you, don't discontinue this!
ConsThere's not a single thing to complain about - it's the perfect matte tint. I'm stocking up before it gets discontinued. ++ After using it a few times, I noticed that applying multiple layers intensifies the color, giving it a warmer feel. For cool-toned folks, it's best to apply just 1-2 thin layers. The formula is amazingly unique - it adheres perfectly between lip lines without emphasizing dead skin cells, feels completely weightless, and looks natural. I'll likely keep buying it. I just wish the color was more definitively cool-toned... I hope they can nail the shades as well as Peripera does. Peripera's great at color, but their ingredients are so harsh that they make my lips tingle, itch, and emphasize flakiness, so I can't use them.

It's the closest to the color I wanted, so I'm really happy with it. It dries quickly when applied, which helps it set well. In the photo, the left is Dusty Beige and the right is Rom&nd Pink Sand. Both appear a bit darker and more intense in the picture than in real life.
ConsThe only slight disappointment is that the stain left on the back of my hand is closer to hot pink.

The staying power is great, so I find myself reaching for it often. It's also excellent as a base.
ConsIf your lips aren't in good condition, it doesn't apply nicely. You need to moisturize well at night before using it!
TipFor the best application, make sure your lips are well-hydrated and remove any lip balm or oil residue beforehand.

It definitely has less transfer. There's a slight hint of gray and purple, but it's mixed with brown, so I'm not sure if it's extremely cool-toned? However, that could be an advantage for cool-toned people who want to cover the purplish tint in their lips like mine. If it were too cool, it might emphasize the purple tones... The stain is pink, so you can think of it as a slightly cool-leaning, atmospheric pink tint.
ConsIt's similar to my lip color, but... darker. So honestly, I don't understand why it's called a base lip ㅜ It just makes my lip color more saturated and much deeper. Probably because the stain is pink.. It lacks the nude feel needed for covering dark lip stains or such. The color itself should be lighter to use as a base lip, but it's too deep. It's a white elephant for those who don't suit dark colors. Hard to use effectively. To prevent it from transferring to masks, you'd need to use this alone, but when you do, it's not pretty, so you have to layer another base underneath. Then it transfers a bit because of that base lipstick or tint.. I bought this to prevent transfer, but it's just become a burden.
TipThis is more of a revival tip than a pro tip. You can create a really nice cool-toned nude lip by applying a separate base underneath. Recommendations: Missha Dare Rouge Classic Mood (works for warm tones too, but definitely covers lip color with pink) and Freaky Girl (very white-based cool pink, a killer combo even on darker skin tones, so give it a try).

In comparison, this Dusty Beige is more suitable as a base for cool-toned skin. It's a pink-beige color, but when applied thinly on the lips, it's barely noticeable - you can hardly tell it's there. In other words, there's practically no pigmentation; it's just like your natural lip color. Some say it's pretty when worn alone, but in my opinion, it's definitely a base color. It's great for smoky eye looks when you want to emphasize the eyes and keep the lips nude.
ConsIt wasn't as cool-toned as I expected. Although it was marketed alongside Cranberry Plum as a cool-toned shade for cool complexions, it's actually quite neutral - even warm-toned people could wear it. As someone with a very, very cool undertone who only suits or wants absolutely cool shades with no hint of warmth, I strongly recommend testing this first. Also, it takes a bit longer to set on the inner part of the lips, so after application, lightly blot with a tissue for a cleaner finish. And don't forget, exfoliating your lips is a must!

The color is beautiful - a muted beige-pink! It doesn't transfer much and feels light on the lips.
ConsI thought it would be lighter than Midnight Mauve, but it's not.

A shade that deep undertones might pull off when they're compatible with light undertones. If we're splitting hairs between warm and cool, it's lukewarm but leans warmer. Warm tones looking for a cooler vibe might give it a shot. For this cool mute queen, it's a neither-here-nor-there color that ages me. Plus, it's too low in brightness and saturation for a base lip, just making my lips look dark and gloomy. Not sure what they were going for. Pretty awkward. If you're expecting a cool nudie brown like Peripera's Sensual Nude, think again... Sensual Nude is definitely cooler ^-^ Etude seems to always market lukewarm, slightly warm shades as cool tones in their Jae-yoo Lang collabs, and it's seriously annoying. If I'd known the true color, I wouldn't have spent money on this. It's an online exclusive so I couldn't test it - cool-toned folks still on the fence, please think long and hard before buying! (Goodbye, my hard-earned cash~) ■Texture: It's a liquid with a slight viscosity, but it applies thinly and smoothly, smudging easily. Over time, it transforms into a powdery finish. The fixing time isn't too quick, making gradation a breeze~ Unlike lip lacquers, it doesn't feel sticky on the lips~ Once it dries, it looks similar to a lip lacquer! ■Staying Power/Adherence: It stays put through drinks and masks without transferring, but food will make it disappear~ If you wait for it to set, it adheres beautifully into the lip lines, improving its staying power~ ■Value for Money: Really disappointing... especially the color. They keep talking about 'mauve this and that', so I tried Midnight Mauve but it was too warm. I thought Dusty Beige would be different, but nope! Etude is cementing its place in my memory as a brand that just can't nail cool-toned colors... Never buying again with my own money.. ugh.. what a waste..
ConsCool-toned? More like fake cool-toned. It's a huge marketing scam for supposedly 'true cool tones'. The staining turns hot pink, are you kidding me? It's not cool-toned, it's an ambiguous lukewarm warm tone~ So frustrating!
TipThe only way to salvage this is by mixing it with an extremely cool-toned shade...
