This toner offers excellent hydration and moisturizing power. It's incredibly gentle, so even with my combination and sensitive skin, I've been using it for several bottles without any blemishes. The value for money is also very good, which is why I keep repurchasing it. I haven't found any downsides yet... It's a great product. The slightly viscous texture makes it better for absorption rather than as an exfoliating toner. When my skin feels dry, I find it works even better if I layer it a few times. - ph******Oily SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresMay 11, 2025
The texture is like a runny serum, making it perfect for use during the chilly winter months The scent is slightly reminiscent of rice, which is a bit disappointing. I think it would be better if it were fragrance-free - al********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2025
This product worked wonders when my skin was dry, thanks to its excellent hydration and moisturizing properties. It feels a bit heavy for summer use, so I think it's more suitable for transitional seasons. - ko*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedApr 24, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I had a tough time when my skin barrier collapsed, possibly due to daily use of cleansing oil. This toner came to my rescue! My skin was stinging and red with everything I applied, but after using this product, I recovered in just a few days! It has a slightly viscous, water-like texture that provides great hydration. The ingredients are clean, and it seems to have a soothing effect. I highly recommend this to those with dry skin or anyone struggling with a damaged skin barrier. There's a slight feeling of pilling when applying makeup (though I'm not sure if it's specifically because of this toner). When my skin is in good condition, I probably wouldn't reach for it. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2025
I've been using this for about 3 months, and I think it's a great toner for winter. My skin tends to get very dry in winter, but this toner isn't too light, so it seems to provide better hydration. The texture isn't watery, but rather a bit thinner than aloe vera gel, and it's not sticky at all. It also seems to absorb really quickly into the skin. The downside is that when my skin isn't in the best condition, it can sometimes feel a bit drying. However, I think it might feel a bit heavy if used in summer. For best results, I recommend applying a small amount by gently patting it into the skin. This method seems to make it absorb even faster. - ri**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 22, 2025
It's vegan and feels nice on the skin. I used it without any issues. It's not a hydration powerhouse, so don't expect dramatic changes. - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2024
It feels more like an ampoule than a typical toner! Many users have found it effective in combating deep dryness. There's hardly any scent, and it has a slightly thicker consistency than watery toners. It provides a bit more hydration than regular toners, which is likely why so many people say it helps with deep dryness. No real downsides, but since it's more moisturizing than watery toners, it might not be ideal for those with oily skin. This could be a great alternative to an ampoule for those who are more mature or find watery toners too light. Don't forget to personalize your bottle with the Atje sticker that comes with it! - wl********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 30, 2024
It's so hydrating that one application is enough. There's hardly any irritation. The formula is quite sticky, making it difficult to get out of the container. You need to shake it vigorously to dispense the product. - gm*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2024
This is my go-to hydrating toner every time I visit Hwahae! It's a true hero product for skin that needs soothing. It doesn't cause any blemishes and just fills your skin with moisture. I feel disappointed whenever it's out of stock. The price is also a great value for money. If I had to point out a downside, it might be the texture (?). But even that isn't really inconvenient. - ni**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2024
I've used over half the bottle. Its runny texture provides great hydration and is gentle on the skin. Once it's fully absorbed, it leaves a sticky residue on the skin, like rice glue. When applying makeup, this stickiness causes the base to clump a bit. When I go out, all my baby hairs stick to it, making it unusable. I'm only using it at home before bed now.
