They offer such a diverse range of serums and creams that are nourishing and don't cause blemishes. That's why you'll always find Missha products in my skincare routine. This time, I tried out this particular item. However, I'm curious if I'm the only one who finds this button-type dropper a bit tricky to use? As for the product itself, it has a serum-like consistency with good spreadability. It's packed with nourishing ingredients, leaving a slight sheen on the skin, but it absorbs well without feeling sticky. You can apply it in the morning without worrying about pilling or your makeup sliding off. I think it would work great as a day serum before summer hits, and it's suitable for nighttime use all year round.
ConsThe dropper on this product is a bit different from standard ones, with some extra steps in its use. Personally, I find it quite inconvenient. It's like one hand is always occupied. Only those who've tried this product will understand what I mean. I honestly prefer the regular dropper style - it just seems more user-friendly to me.
TipI've found that applying the Missha serum, followed by their cream, and then adding a small amount of this serum again after everything has absorbed seems to help the hydration last even longer.

The texture is incredibly rich and applies smoothly on the skin, absorbing well. I bought the large size, and the packaging is beautiful. With daily use, I can feel my skin becoming more supple and firm.
ConsThe downside is that it has a strong scent, which was surprising at first since I usually prefer unscented products. I've gotten used to it now, and it's not unpleasant, but it was quite a shock when I first used it.

Excellent absorption 3. Anti-aging ingredients This ampoule's identity is all about firmness, moisture retention, and brightening/anti-wrinkle functionality! 4. Blemish-fighting power It contains ingredients that are excellent for antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects! 5. Dropper applicator The dropper makes it convenient to use
ConsEven though there's only a small amount of fragrance added at the end... I wish they had left it out completely! That's why I took away one star

It's so convenient - you just twist the cap and the product is automatically drawn into the dropper, no need for tedious pumping every time you use it! The texture isn't that heavy, suffocating serum type that feels overly nourishing. Instead, it's more fluid, hydrating, and has a light absorbs. It's easy to apply, and you can even layer it thinly multiple times for better coverage. Missha's lifting serum is light enough that I find myself reaching for it often. Honestly, apart from the scent, I was satisfied with how it feels on the skin. It's moisturizing and gives a nice hydration boost! My skin has been quite dry lately, so I was worried that a lifting serum might feel heavy or leave a lingering residue. But this one has a smooth, hydrating, and somewhat light texture that absorbs well. While it doesn't instantly make your skin firmer, I like that it's a product I'll likely use consistently.
ConsThe glass packaging makes it a bit heavy, so you need to be careful when storing and using it. It does have a scent, which isn't really to my taste. It's got that typical functional skincare product smell, which I found a bit disappointing. (Thankfully, the scent isn't too strong or long-lasting, so that's a small relief.)
TipIf one application doesn't feel enough, you can always layer it for better results!

I was worried about how it would suit my combination skin due to its oily-like texture, but contrary to my concerns, it absorbed well and maintained good hydration, which I really liked. It didn't cause any blemishes and felt comfortable on my skin. As a bonus, it even gives a nice glow!
ConsThe lifting effect seems a bit subtle. Of course, I'd need to use it more consistently to really tell, but I think the feeling of lifting comes more from the smooth, glossy finish rather than any actual firmness.
TipIt was great for gua sha massage after applying the serum generously. The smoothness lasts, making it perfect for a gentle gua sha session - give it a try!

It's similar in design to the Amore Pacific ampoule. - The self-dosing dropper (button type) dispenses just the right amount for one use: It's convenient for controlling the quantity. Ingeniously, when you close the cap, it automatically refills for the next use. - Skin becomes soft, supple, and bouncy+firm: It's noticeably different from regular ampoules. Instead of just feeling moisturized and firm, your skin becomes soft and supple. - Long-lasting effects: I believe skincare products should have good staying power (especially for dry skin!). My cheeks tend to be dry, so I focus more on moisturizing them compared to my T-zone. In the morning, I didn't feel dry at all. - Contains vitamin and niacinamide: Great for those with many blemishes or dull skin to use as a gentle night care. It worked very well for me, even though I have sensitive skin.
Cons- Caution needed for those sensitive to niacinamide or fragrances: The scent might be polarizing... It smells exactly like old-fashioned mom's cosmetics. - Sun protection storage is essential due to vitamin content: I keep mine in the box. - Missha tends to discontinue products quickly: Such a shame... Nowadays, all their offline stores are disappearing. Missha is great for skincare, but it's sad how fast they discontinue products. - Burdensome price over $50 for a road shop brand: The product is good, but the price is a bit disappointing. I wish they'd lower the price or offer a smaller size option! - Oily skin may experience increased oil production in the morning: I have combination skin with dry cheeks and an oily T-zone. My T-zone became much oilier than usual (though no blemishes appeared). Now I only apply it to my dry cheeks. - Due to vitamin content, use only at night or apply sunscreen if used in the morning: Please be careful if you're using it in the morning. - Honestly, I'm not sure about the firming effects... I think I need to use it longer to tell.
TipAfter using toner, apply an appropriate amount to your face at the ampoule or serum step. Spread it gently, as if you're massaging. This product seems perfect for those over 30 with dry skin!

Since it was a new product, I used it once a day in the evening on my sensitive skin. My routine: toner > serum > aloe + cream (Now that my skin has adapted, I apply it twice daily, morning and night...) What I loved most was how well it absorbs. Of course, all serums should absorb well, but not every product actually does. (The incredible absorption really feels like it's nourishing my skin... My complexion has definitely improved. No joke.) The dropper makes it clean and hygienic to use. After two weeks of use, my skin definitely felt more hydrated and firmer(?). (Looking back, more than firmness, I noticed my skin became brighter and more translucent.) The serum isn't harsh, but gentle and "comfortable on the skin." I could use it daily without any issues on my sensitive skin.
ConsThere is a scent, but personally, I don't find it unpleasant. (I've grown to like it, but this might vary from person to person.) Other than that, I'm not sure yet. The dropper system is nice and clean, but I'm curious if it's designed to be easy to use when there's only a little product left.

When I first applied it lightly on the back of my hand, I thought it might be heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised by its just-right hydration! I was worried about blemishes appearing, but even after applying it consistently for about a week, no small bumps or blemishes surfaced, which I'm really happy about. It's perfect for my skin in this season! Above all, the packaging is incredibly convenient. The automatic pumping when you open and close it makes it so easy to use.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. There's a noticeable cosmetic smell when you apply it. However, it doesn't linger for long, and once you layer your next skincare product on top, it quickly dissipates.
TipThose sensitive to fragrances might initially think 'What's this?!', but the scent seems to fade rather quickly. I'd recommend swiftly moving on to your next skincare step to help it along.

As someone with acne-prone, oily, and sensitive skin, I initially felt a slight burning sensation when I applied it. However, this subsided over time. The next morning, I could visibly see that my complexion had brightened and the redness had significantly reduced. The unique lid design is also quite impressive - it's so convenient and helps reduce the risk of contamination, making storage and maintenance a breeze!
ConsIt's unfortunate that the delivery was delayed due to a typhoon, limiting my long-term use. As someone with oily skin, I was surprised by the increase in sebum production after application, which led me to cleanse once. The next day, while the redness had subsided, small blemishes appeared. Although it applied smoothly, I might have used too much, or perhaps due to my oily skin, the stickiness persisted for hours. The strong fragrance was also slightly off-putting. While it did improve redness and brighten my complexion, and caused no issues when applied to my neck and wrists, it didn't suit my acne-prone skin. I'd recommend users start with a small amount and gradually increase as needed.
TipMy usual skincare routine involves using a toner during the day, and at night I alternate between hydrating pads, mugwort ampoule, and moisturizer, or toner, moisturizer, and acne ointment. I noticed many reviews mentioning the serum's lack of hydration, so after cleansing, I used a hydrating pad to refine my skin texture, applied a thin layer of moisturizer, and then used the serum. This approach seemed to noticeably reduce sebum production compared to my first use.

The dropper design is quite unique compared to traditional ones. When you open the cap, the top part clicks up, automatically filling the dropper with the right amount. Just press the raised part to dispense the perfect dose. It's so convenient for controlling usage and prevents overuse. The texture feels smooth when applied and absorbs well into the skin. With no greasy feeling, it seems perfect for year-round use. The subtle fragrance is pleasant, and after application, my face has a beautiful glow!
ConsThere's nothing to complain about. I'm thoroughly satisfied in every aspect.
