It was my first time using a brush pen eyeliner, so it took some getting used to. The thin lines were especially tricky at first. The original tip is thin enough for me to draw all the way to the outer corner of my eye. I rarely use the micro tip, mainly for creating dots. It takes a bit of time to set, which makes it easy to correct if you make a mistake initially. Now I find brush pen liners easier to use than pencil liners! Once it dries, it really stays put. Except for the inner corners, it lasts from morning to night. The staying power is truly impressive! While some black liners can look more brown, this one is a true deep black. If you prefer a subtle look, you might want to try something else. The line is as noticeable in person as it is in photos. Despite its long-lasting formula, it removes easily with cleansing oil. I haven't tried removing it with water, so I can't speak to that.
ConsIt takes quite a while for the line to set. While you can easily fix it right away, it becomes difficult to correct later on.
TipIf you try to smudge the line before it sets, it'll wipe off completely and you'll have to redraw it. To avoid irritating your eyes repeatedly, it's best to do your eye makeup and other makeup first, then smudge the line last.
