The cooling sensation on the scalp from the gentle ingredients feels quite nice! There are plenty of exfoliating beads, and as you work them into your scalp, it turns into an automatic scalp massage. It works hard to keep your scalp feeling fresh!

I'm not sure if the cleansing effectiveness is lacking. Even after thoroughly wetting my scalp with lukewarm water to soften it, then lathering up generously for both a pre-wash and main wash, sometimes there's still a bit of an odor at the crown after just one day. Daily washing does help though! The shampoo is quite thick and has exfoliating beads, so it's not the easiest to squeeze out of the bottle. It would be better if it came in a smaller size or had a slightly thinner consistency.
