I can't really find anything particularly positive to say about this product. I bought it because of the good ingredients, but... For me, the fragrance is way too strong. It barely lathers, and it's far too watery. When you pump it out, it doesn't feel rich and creamy, but more like water. I'll probably end up using it carelessly just to finish it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 19, 2019
First off, I love that the scent is subtle and not irritating. Even after showering, the fragrance lingers in the bathroom all day, almost like it doubles as an air freshener. The ingredients don't seem to cause any blemishes, and I've been using it daily without experiencing any deep dryness. The quantity is a bit small for the price, and the lather isn't particularly rich, so it tends to run off a bit. I don't notice any significant skin improvements, and it feels like it might strip away some moisture. I have a feeling it might fog up the mirror when used. If you use a loofah, you might need to use a bit less. You could even hang it somewhere in the bathroom to use as a natural air freshener! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 7, 2019
The texture is quite thin and flows easily. The scent of this product is really sophisticated and pleasant. I'm not usually a fan of lovely or powdery fragrances, but this one has an elegant, botanical aroma that I really enjoy. The lather isn't particularly rich or creamy. After rinsing, there's a slight feeling of dryness. While the fragrance is its strongest point, it doesn't linger for long. But that's okay since it's a wash-off product anyway. The important thing is that it makes for an enjoyable shower experience. This product seems perfect for summer use. It's great for a light shower, and if you follow up with a body mist, you won't feel dry at all. It's ideal for those who want a quick, lightweight cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2019
The scent is nice and not overwhelming. Being a water-based formula, it lathers up well with just one or two pumps. Since it's water-based, it can be a bit wasteful if you don't control the amount well. The foam isn't particularly rich, but rather light. It seems to be better at cleansing than moisturizing. If you have dry skin like me, make sure to apply a body emulsion afterwards. Otherwise, you might end up with visible dead skin cells. This body wash is more suitable for summer use rather than winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 6, 2019
After finishing my previous body products, I was looking for something new and decided to buy this one due to its overall positive reviews. First off, the scent is absolutely lovely - subtle yet sophisticated. It truly lives up to its name as an 'essence body wash'. The texture is thin and fluid, just like an essence. While I haven't used it long enough to notice all the benefits, I'm excited to continue using it because of its great ingredients. 1. One disappointment is that the long-lasting fragrance mentioned in many reviews doesn't seem to apply to me. While the scent does linger on the skin, it fades rather quickly and isn't particularly strong. I'm not even sure if the fragrance lingers in the bathroom after showering. 2. The lather isn't the rich, creamy type. I tried leaving the foam on my body while brushing my teeth and washing my hair, as some suggested it would make the scent last longer. However, the foam seemed to absorb or dissipate. While it does produce more lather than I expected, if you prefer a luxurious foam that leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, this product might not be for you. Since I haven't been using it for long, I don't have any special tips to share. If I discover any as I continue to use it, I'll make sure to update! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2018
I'm writing this review after using the product once. The good points are... First, the hydration. It's a colorless, transparent, thin liquid, and after using it, I feel like my skin is more hydrated than with products I've used before. Second, the lasting fragrance. Although personally it's not a scent I like... the fragrance has great staying power. I applied it in the morning, left the bathroom fan on, and even when I came home after work, I could still smell it. Of course, it lingers on the body too. If only it were a scent I liked, it would have been even better. I received it yesterday and used it today, just once! There are a few disappointing aspects. First is the scent... Some people said the fragrance was nice, but personally... I didn't care for it. It's like an old-fashioned aftershave scent... I bought three bottles, but... Secondly, the volume. The amount is too small for the price. I knew this when I bought it, but seeing it in person made it look even smaller. Third, the foam particles. When you work up a lather, the foam particles are large, so it doesn't create a rich, dense foam. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2018
Absolutely nothing positive to say about this. After using it, I developed red spots all over my body. For the first time ever, I got red spots on my body after using this. I thought something was wrong with me, but since the body wash was the only recent change, I stopped using it and the issue cleared up right away. The lather is poor - it's not rich and creamy, but very thin. It doesn't even feel like it's cleaning effectively. The scent is nice, but it disappears as soon as you're out of the shower. There's absolutely no lingering fragrance on your skin - you only smell it while lathering up, unlike a perfume or body mist. I did try the body cream in-store and that scent lasted longer. As a devoted Hwahae user, I trusted the reviews and bought two bottles in advance, but now I'll have to throw them both away. There's truly nothing good about this product. Pro tip: Don't use it at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2018
It's definitely a perfume wash! The scent is very similar to Jo Malone's Lime Basil & Mandarin. The luxurious and refreshing fragrance really puts me in a good mood. The formula is quite thin, and it doesn't produce rich, dense foam. This means you end up using a lot of product, which feels a bit wasteful. It seems to work better with a shower puff or sponge rather than a washcloth for lathering. With its mild acidity and plant-based surfactants, I use it for quick showers before bed. It's gentle on the skin, and I love how the fragrance lingers in the bedroom - it's like having a bit of aromatherapy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2018
I bought this eagerly due to good reviews and a discount on Hwahae. The scent is neutral and refreshing. As a body product enthusiast, I had high expectations, but I wasn't as satisfied as I thought I'd be. On the positive side, the ingredients are gentle. Reviews claim the scent lasts long, but I don't notice that at all. The fragrance only lingers during the shower. The texture is thin, and even with a shower puff, it doesn't lather well. The foam isn't rich and disappears quickly. I suppose that's because the ingredients are mild...
