I bought this for cooling purposes, and it's truly refreshing! I generously apply it to my face and leave it on while using it.
I'm not sure if it's due to the alcohol content, but it stings a bit around the eyes. It feels somewhat astringent. Also, when the aloe dries, it tightens on the face like a hardening mask.
When my face feels tight from the dried aloe, I simply apply a light serum. It seems to help with absorption and feels quite nice.
