I used to use Missha 4D, but I switched to this one. There's a price difference, and maybe that's why the under-eye area doesn't smudge at all with this one. At first, the mascara liquid came out a bit too much, so it would lightly get on my eyelids, but after some time, it dries to the right consistency and doesn't get on them. And it really, really doesn't harden, so you can use it for a long time!!
The brush could have been a bit smaller, which would have made it easier to apply.
I find that mascaras don't harden easily, but if it does happen over time, you can just add a few drops of saline solution to revive it and use it again ^0^!
