The formula is like a water tint but dries to a matte finish. I was drawn to it because the case is so pretty. However, be careful when opening it - the case is stiff, but the product inside is a liquid tint, not a lipstick. If you open it carelessly with too much force, it might splash on your clothes. When it accidentally splattered on my ivory slacks, I was shocked, but I discovered a hidden tip - hand sanitizer can remove the stain! A useful trick to remember. Warning: Be extremely careful when opening to avoid product splashing!

Staying Power: The matte finish adheres perfectly to your lips, resulting in excellent longevity. It's ideal for our current mask-wearing times! After applying and letting it set to a matte finish, just blot once with a tissue before putting on your mask - zero transfer! The staying power is incredible. I've been using this tint every day lately. When used as a base lip color and topped with any darker tint, the strong base ensures your lip color stays fresh and beautiful even after eating.
