It's a perfect matte lip for fall and winter. The way it adheres to your lips with a satisfying grip when you apply it is just fantastic. The color is a truly vibrant red. When you do a full lip, it's a bold red, but if you go for a gradient look, it gives more of a clear, bright red vibe. The shade seems versatile enough to suit both warm and cool skin tones. It doesn't seem to be a product that stains the lips. The color comes off immediately when you wipe it. On my lips, there was absolutely no staining effect at all. Just dab it on lightly and you've got that perfect no-makeup makeup look.

Before I dive into the pros and cons, let me give you some context. My skin tone is between deep and light undertone. Now, onto the good stuff! The velvet texture is rich and matte, but it feels soft and powdery when applied. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, it leaves a moisturized feeling, so even though it's a matte lip product, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. I thought it might feel heavy because of its rich texture, but it's surprisingly lightweight and adheres beautifully to the lips. As someone who dislikes artificial scents in lip products, I find the subtle strawberry scent quite pleasant! On the downside, the staying power is a bit disappointing. While it's great that it doesn't stain easily, this also means it doesn't last very long, so you'll need to reapply frequently. Because it doesn't stain, it tends to transfer quite a bit. As someone who pays attention to ingredients, I was a bit disappointed to see some less-than-ideal components in the formula. One last thing to note - the color is a warmer coral-red than you might expect, so I highly recommend testing it out before purchasing!
