1. Color It's a red with a hint of orange, but over time it develops a pink undertone. As a winter cool tone, the color itself wasn't completely unsuitable, but when it settled into pink, it seemed more fitting for a summer cool tone. While it has color, being a lip balm, you need to apply it several times for pigmentation. Even with multiple applications, it's not overly intense. 2. Hydration I liked that it wasn't a sticky moisturizing feeling, but rather a soft and smooth hydration. The moisturizing effect lasts for a long time. 3. User experience If you want to find and eliminate all your hidden dead skin cells, give this a try. It's both a pro and a con, but... I'll list this under cons. There's a slight warming sensation on the lips, but no plumping effect. However, I have very pale lips with no natural color, and after cleansing at night, I noticed they had a pink tint. It reminded me of the trendy 'toki-lip' color. Thinking about it, on days when I applied this balm heavily, there was some irritation from the plumping effect, which seemed to redden my lips naturally. Even after wiping it off, no color transferred, so it's probably due to the stimulation. My lips tend to be very dry with wrinkles and dead skin cells. So I usually take care of exfoliation, and when I applied this lip balm, there wasn't any noticeable flaking. However, as soon as I put it on, dead skin cells started to appear. This lip balm really emphasized flaking to an extreme degree. It seemed to bring out even invisible dead skin cells. But as I mentioned in the pros, it's both an advantage and a disadvantage... If you can endure the initial emphasis on flaking, you end up with incredibly smooth lips free of dead skin. The problem is, the dead skin doesn't come off easily - you need to remove it manually, and initially, it looks really messy. You have to wipe off the dead skin and reapply about 4-5 times before you can finally apply it without flaking... It's a bit tedious and not something you can do unless you have some private time. So while it seems like a con, it's also kind of a pro because it brings out even invisible dead skin cells. I'm not quite sure how to feel about it. - ls*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsOct 14, 2023
It absorbs beautifully into the skin. The color isn't too intense, which is great. While I can't really find any specific drawbacks, I do wish the color was a bit more vibrant. - va*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2023
It's wonderfully hydrating, the color payoff is great, and the size is perfect for daily use. When first applied, there's a brief tingling sensation, similar to a mint-like burning feeling. - je********Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 18, 2023
The color looks natural, and I thought it would be matte, but it's surprisingly moisturizing too No complaints at all! If it keeps feeling like this, I'll definitely buy it again! Just wish the shipping costs were a bit lower If you find it lacking on its own, it's a good idea to carry a moisturizing lip balm with you as well - nb*****Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 30, 2023
I keep it in my car for easy use. It's perfect for applying lightly over just sunscreen or cushion foundation. The color is natural, not artificial. Even in freezing temperatures when my car is icy cold, the Berrisom lip balm doesn't freeze and still applies smoothly every time. I guess it's unavoidable with lip balms, but the staying power isn't great. You need to reapply frequently. - lk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2023
It applies smoothly and feels gentle on the lips. You can feel it soothing the dead skin cells on your lips. The color is weaker than expected and fades easily. It's a reminder that lip balms aren't the same as lip tints. Apply it over your lip tint. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2022
I bought this because of the 'effortlessly chic' trend that's been blowing through. I wanted something for my dry lips that would also make them look healthy. The color isn't too intense, and even if you apply a bit more, it doesn't look overdone. I think it's great for men to use too. As it's a lip balm, it helps with dryness and allows for subtle enhancement. People around me keep asking where I got it! The moisturizing power is a bit disappointing. Although it's a lip balm, it doesn't seem to excel at hydration. I'm planning to use it just for the cosmetic effect. I found that applying cream or oil to my lips before using this product improved its staying power. - qa******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 6, 2022
It's moisturizing and gives a lovely sparkle! Personally, I also enjoy the subtle floral scent. I've been using a natural lip balm for about a year and decided to try something new. While this one is nice, I'm a bit disappointed that the color payoff is quite sheer. For best results, gently exfoliate your lips in the shower to remove dead skin cells, then apply this balm. It works wonders! - dm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2022
The price is reasonable, and when applied, the color looks natural. It also gives a refreshing feeling, which I really like. I honestly can't think of any downsides. The color is beautiful and I'm very satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2022
It's incredibly hydrating and the color payoff is better than I expected, which is fantastic. The plumping effect seems milder than anticipated. It's probably best not to have high expectations for that aspect when purchasing!
