This is a nighttime product! Apply it before bed and remove after about 12 hours, and you'll see your blemishes significantly reduced. For large, red, inflamed blemishes, you can see a major calming effect even overnight. It gives the feeling of gradually shrinking them. It has little effect on small, closed comedones. (In fact, for tiny bumps or small, unripe blemishes, it seems to make them more noticeable. It's as if it brings them to a head first, then you can use the product again to gradually eliminate them.) The product has fine needle-like applicators that slightly stimulate the skin, which can be a bit painful when applying pressure. Not recommended for those with super sensitive skin. Got an important event tomorrow but dealing with a big blemish? Apply this before bed, and you'll wake up to find it significantly calmed down. However, avoid using it on small pimples or closed comedones as it might make them more prominent or larger! ++ This is truly a staple product for me. It's as effective as it is pricey, and incredibly versatile. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2024
When applied to blemishes, you can see a slight improvement the next day While the blemishes do subside a bit, the area becomes very red after removal. It seems to cause quite a bit of irritation - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2022
I felt it effectively soothed small blemishes. The individual packaging for each patch was very secure, which was great for maintaining cleanliness. While Acropass isn't extremely satisfying for its price, this product went beyond being ineffective to being uncomfortable. Unlike Acropass, the needles don't dissolve. After some time, I noticed the metal-like part they call the magnesium structure was floating. Also, I felt the needles were too irritating, which made me uneasy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2022
The patches have the advantage of being untouchable, which helped the blemish disappear without leaving a mark. One ripened pimple burst when I removed the patch on the second day, and by the fourth day, it had subsided. There's still some redness, but I believe if I keep applying the patches consistently, it won't leave a scar! The adhesive seems to irritate my skin, causing a lot of itching where the patch is applied. (It's an uncomfortable itch that I can't seem to get used to.) I think it works best when applied just as you feel a blemish starting to form, before it fully develops! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 27, 2022
Quick and effective care possible. Used it on my chin right after washing my face, and it adheres well. Stays put without touching. Hygienic individual packaging for each patch. Sturdy ziplock bag for storage. Would repurchase. The price seems a bit high (deducted one star). Might cause slight irritation for sensitive skin. There's a tingling sensation that feels a bit stinging, but the effectiveness makes it tolerable. Don't squeeze your blemishes, just stick these on! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinOct 13, 2021
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. It was my first time trying needle patches, so I was really curious and had high expectations. They're definitely effective for pustular acne. I applied them before bed, removed them after about 7 hours, and was amazed to see the blemishes had noticeably subsided. There's a bit of irritation. If you have super sensitive skin, you might want to think carefully before purchasing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2021
My skin type is oily in the T-zone and combination dehydrated in the U-zone. I have super sensitive skin that usually only tolerates dermatological products like Zeroid. I often get pustular acne in the T-zone and blemishes in the U-zone (I'm not sure of the exact type, but they're itchy, red, swollen spots that don't come to a head). 1) Product experience: The patch has small needles in a honeycomb pattern. After applying it to the skin, you need to press it once to allow the needles to penetrate. It feels slightly tingly and prickly at this point. For best results, it's recommended to wear it for at least 8 hours, so I put it on before bed and it stayed in place all night. However, it did come off during intense exercise and sweating, which seems unavoidable. The honeycomb needle pattern is visible from the outside, and the patch is quite large, so it might be a bit awkward to wear in public. Since it's meant for nighttime use, I won't count this as a drawback. 2) Acne care effectiveness: When I woke up, I noticed that the protruding acne had calmed down, leaving only some redness. I didn't experience any additional blemishes or adverse skin reactions. It seems to have a sufficient calming effect on small pimples and blemishes, as long as they're not severely inflamed. However, the effect is maximized when the acne is 'ripe'. For example, I once applied it to a pustular acne that wasn't fully developed. After 8 hours, it initially appeared calmed, but the inflammation progressed again shortly after removal. - After removing the sticker, there are indentations on the skin in the shape of the needles, and the area is red. I usually cleanse with a foam cleanser in the morning, which might irritate the areas where the needles penetrated. - At 2000 won per patch with 4 patches per pack, it feels a bit expensive. Timing seems crucial with these patches. They show definite care effects on ripe pustular acne. Given that each patch costs 2000 won, it's best to apply them at the optimal time to maximize their effectiveness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 10, 2021
- I have combination dehydrated skin with slight redness in the T-zone and occasional cystic acne. I've used regular acne patches before, but this was my first time trying microneedle patches - I'd only heard about them until now. I usually get 1-3 pimples during seasonal changes or my menstrual cycle. These tend to be deep, painful blemishes that stay red for a long time. This time, I noticed one starting to form around my chin area, so I decided to give this patch a try. At first, I felt a slight tingling sensation, which I thought would subside, but it kept bothering me (I applied it during the day on a weekend). The instructions said to leave it on for about 8 hours, so I waited. Unfortunately, instead of helping, the microneedles seemed to irritate my skin - the area became more inflamed without any visible improvement. Just in case, I monitored it for a day and tried again the next night, but it only got redder and the surrounding area felt irritated. Some reviews mentioned it worked well on pimples with pus, but it wasn't effective for my type of blemish. If you have super sensitive skin or deep, under-the-skin type acne, you might want to be cautious with this product. While I appreciated the individual packaging for hygiene reasons, having only 4 patches felt like too small an amount. Also, those with sensitive skin might find the microneedles more irritating than helpful. I think the user experience with this product could vary greatly from person to person. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2021
This is my first time using a product with sharp needles. It seems to be effective on blemishes that are a bit larger than just small bumps. It caused more irritation than I expected, leaving my skin quite red after removal. I don't think it would be suitable for post-blemish care. For best results, apply after cleansing and drying your face, before your skincare routine. This ensures better adhesion and longer-lasting effects. As it leaves visible marks, it's ideal for nighttime use as instructed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2021
I don't have particularly sensitive skin. My skin type is oily enough to handle primers and foundation without issue, but it's becoming drier with age, so now it's combination. Depending on what I eat, I can get oily and acne-prone on my forehead, nose, and chin. Even when pressing the Easyderm patch repeatedly, it didn't irritate my skin excessively or cause concern. The sensation was minimally stimulating and pleasantly cool. I wonder if the microneedles could have been longer or thinner for better results? Well, I'm not sure about improved effectiveness, but it probably would have been more irritating to the skin. I applied it as usual after my toner, collagen essence, and emulsion, placing it just below my mouth towards my chin where I tend to get oily. While the effects weren't dramatic, it felt like it helped create a pathway for the active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin. Don't worry about the needles getting stuck in your skin! That won't happen - I'd bet my neck on it. (But of course, everyone should still be careful as results may vary.) + I also tried it on a surprising breakout on my cheek before bed. Amazingly, it calmed down much faster, with the raised bump almost disappearing. The blemish site was left in a pre-scab state. I'm considering applying it once more to see if it helps further. (This is why I added an extra star.) This could be really useful the night before an important appointment or a date! It's probably best to use this while sleeping when your face isn't moving, as the Easyderm patch might stick better. I'd recommend applying it to areas of your face that don't move much, rather than more mobile areas. The adhesive side of the patch wasn't particularly strong, possibly due to the skin-stimulating components.
