Since using it, the frequency of my breakouts has definitely decreased, and my skin also seems to calm down relatively quickly when I get irritated.
ConsThe downside is that when applied, it becomes slightly whitish, like having applied a bit of sunscreen, but the whiteness fades over time! I bought it for my combination skin, but I didn't feel it addressed the dryness, so next time I'll have to try the one for dry skin!!
TipYou can apply it in multiple thin layers to reduce whitening and help control dryness!!

The consistency is just right - not too thin or thick, and it has a refreshing feel.
ConsWhile it feels moisturizing when applied, it doesn't address deep dryness, so you need to layer additional hydrating products.

The third ingredient, niacinamide, which is great for acne-prone skin with its antibacterial and hydrating properties, is the most satisfying aspect. It contains salmon hexane, though I'm not sure of its benefits. There are no pore-clogging ingredients. The texture is between a gel and an ointment. It has a medicinal scent, like something a dermatologist would recommend. It absorbs well. It doesn't sting when applied to blemishes, so it's non-irritating. Easy to apply day or night. When applied to the body, it leaves a slight white cast and absorbs in an unusual way.
ConsIt's not as effective at soothing blemishes as my previous cica cream. There's no calming effect at all. It's not moisturizing and doesn't balance oil or hydration. Although it's a gel, it doesn't cool the skin. After absorption, there's a slight feeling of heaviness, and while it absorbs quickly, it leaves a lingering stickiness. It's meant to be applied last in your skincare routine, but when I do that, it actually seems to cause deep dryness. Currently, I feel like it's doing more harm than good. While the ingredients are clearly good, it's disappointing that there's no visible skin improvement.
