It's great that they've released separate formulas for oily and dry skin types, allowing you to choose based on your skin's needs. I'm really impressed with the gentle ingredients - it seems like it would be suitable for most people without causing major blemishes. The absorption is excellent too, allowing for a smooth and thorough application. As it's designed with increased hydration for dry skin, it feels wonderfully moisturizing. With the original product, I sometimes felt a bit dry even in summer, and in winter I had to either avoid using it or pair it with a more hydrating cream, which was inconvenient. Perhaps due to its ingredients, it has a subtle green-blue tint, which makes it feel even more beneficial for the skin. The scent is also pleasantly mild and refreshing. I'm hoping to see significant improvements in scars and pores as advertised! Compared to the original 50ml version, this new 100ml size offers great value for money with little price difference. While the ingredients differ slightly, I'm thrilled to have a larger size of the Centelution Cica Cream available.
ConsI managed to buy this on sale for $12.90, but the regular price feels a bit steep. The shea butter ingredient gives it a heavy feel. While it's moisturizing, it doesn't feel like the hydration penetrates deeply. Instead, it leaves an uncomfortable oily film on the surface, which I personally don't enjoy. After applying it thoroughly and waiting a while, my fingers feel greasy and shiny when I touch my face. I might need to adjust the amount I use, as I tend to apply products generously. Unlike the original version, it seems this one shouldn't be applied too liberally.
TipI think the moisture will last longer if you apply this after establishing a solid skincare routine. Since I haven't used it for an extended period, I'm not entirely sure about its long-term effects. I'll need to keep using it consistently to see how it performs over time.
