  When you think of intense hydration, you might expect a heavy feel, but this absorbs with a refreshing lightness. What's more, it's packed with moisture that brings your skin's natural glow to life. There's not a hint of dryness, yet it doesn't overwhelm with an excessive sheen that might feel burdensome. I can see myself using this year-round, whether it's the height of summer or the dead of winter.

  Cons

  While I appreciate the sample, I have to say the amount is... well, a bit disappointing. It feels a bit short of what I'd consider a proper trial size, especially given Hwahae's usual commitment to providing ample product for testing.

  Tip

  As expected, using toner with a cotton pad seems to be the way to go. It's great for evening out your complexion, even with just a small amount.

  Ceramide Relief Hydration Toner Feels moisturized and the moisture is quickly absorbed into the skin as soon as applied. Smoothly sinks in without stickiness, and it's okay to apply multiple layers. Almost fragrance-free, making it easy for sensitive skin to use, and it helps soothe the skin. However, being a toner, it may be a bit too watery, so the moisturizing effect could be slightly lacking. In dry seasons, it's recommended to use it with a cream or oil to maintain real hydration. Ceramide Relief Hydration Lotion Feels more effective than the toner in maintaining the skin barrier, and there is less tightness after application. While low in oil content, the formula adheres to the skin smoothly, allowing for immediate makeup application without slipping. For extremely dry and dehydrated skin, this lotion alone may not be enough. It is recommended to use this lotion with a cream or balm product. ⭐️Overall Evaluation This is an excellent daily toner and lotion set for sensitive, combination, and spring/fall skin types. For extremely dry skin or during the harsh winter, it may be insufficient as a sole moisturizing product. A cream is essential.

  Pros

  I've only used a tiny sample for about a week. As someone who generally loves watery toners, I'm quite satisfied with this one. It's adequately hydrating and has a subtle scent that doesn't give me a headache.

  Cons

  Compared to water-based toners from other brands, this one seems to take a tad longer to absorb. Also, I didn't really feel like it provided much hydration. Despite being labeled as 'hydrating', I was a bit disappointed as I couldn't really feel the moisture... However, I've only used it for a week, so that might be why. It's worth checking other reviews too.

  Pros

  I've been using this for about 3 days since March 14, 2025. As someone with extremely dry skin, I find the hydration absorbs well. What's even better is that it's not sticky at all and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

  Cons

  I haven't been using it for long, so I haven't found any drawbacks yet.

  Pros

  It's wonderfully hydrating without being sticky or greasy! You can layer it multiple times and it still feels fresh, not heavy at all. Interestingly, it comes in a pump bottle.

  Cons

  There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. The only downside is that it's hard to find overseas, which is a shame for those of us living abroad.

  Tip

  It absorbs even better and penetrates more deeply when applied after exfoliating dead skin cells

  Pros

  I'm grateful to have been selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, so I'll share a brief review. First and foremost, what I loved most about this product was its hydrating power. With other brands' cleansing foams, after drying my face with a towel, it often feels as dry as autumn leaves. However, after using this product, my face felt as if I had already applied toner - overflowing with moisture, which was very satisfying. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, and the texture is similar to other cleansing foams - slightly thick. When you squeeze it onto your hand and add water, it quickly lathers up. There are some imperceptible granules or additives in the product that somehow made me feel good, as if they were helping with skin care. I also checked the ingredients on Hwahae, and there are no harmful components, so it seems safe to use. I recommend it!

  The only slight disappointment is that it seems to produce a bit less foam than expected.

  Tip

  Before using the cleanser, wash your hands first. Then, work up a lather in your hands and use that foam to cleanse your face. After washing, when drying your face with a towel, don't rub vigorously. Instead, gently pat your skin to remove excess moisture.
