Make sure to apply a generous amount of lip balm before your base makeup, then apply the tint after you've finished your makeup. This prevents emphasizing dead skin cells and gives a better result.

If you apply it when you have dead skin cells on your lips, it's a disaster. It really emphasizes the flaky skin. Also, if you press it multiple times thinking nothing's coming out, then roughly use it and close it, the inside of the cap becomes a mess later.
