But it's not too austere either. It's a combination of a cool water scent and a faint, long-lasting lotus + the so-called 'earth' note (temple scent). The lingering scent is a watery woody aroma that is faint and gentle. The overall scent combination is so well-harmonized, like the fragrance is diffusing thinly and softly. As soon as I smell it, I think of the Pyeonryeong Pavilion at the Beokchojesu Arboretum. Ah, I want to go there again... And for some reason, Anapji Pond also comes to mind. I love the lotus scent, but I was worried about the incense stick smell, which I really dislike, but my worries were unfounded. It's more similar to the scent coming from the incense stick itself when it's unlit, rather than the pungent smell or lingering scent when it's burning. It's not a completely perfect scent for my taste, but I want to get a full-size bottle because I like it a lot. I looked to see if there's a candle version of this scent, but couldn't find one. Bummer.. But the candles from this brand are great too - I haven't tried them myself, but I sent a 3-piece candle gift set to a friend and they loved it.
ConsIf you don't like temple scents, it's probably best to skip this.
