Check out the 6 photos along with this review. They show, in order: product ingredients, emulsion texture, after applying on face, atopic dermatitis on hands, after using on hands for a few days, and how it spreads when applied to the body. I was curious about the MLE emulsion since the MLE cream is so popular. It's a good idea to buy it during a sale. It's manufactured and sold by Neopharm, their own in-house brand. The fact that they use the word 'Ato' shows how serious they are about skin care. What I loved most about this product is the pumping action, which is important to me when using a product casually. The pump is incredibly smooth and pleasant to use. It's bold and large, so you can easily dispense the right amount with just a simple press of your thumb. They say it's a double-layered vacuum container, allowing for economical use. Usually, with pump containers, you can't get the last bit out properly and end up opening the head to shake out the remnants. It's annoying, and if you switch to a jar, it can be unhygienic and worrisome. In summer, kids don't like sticky creams, so we often don't use them, but then I worry about the cream spoiling if it's not properly sealed. That's why I prefer pump containers, and I was really impressed by this design that considers the final use. When I realized it was a double-layered container, I understood why the pumping action was so smooth. My kids' skin gets irritated easily, almost like atopic dermatitis when it's just a bit dry. That's why us moms are always on the hunt for the perfect moisturizer. After applying the MLE emulsion for a few days, the red, irritated areas improved. I apply it all over their face and body, anytime, and when I put it on their cheeks when they get occasional blemishes, the hydration lasts for a long time. The absorption is amazing - it doesn't just sit on top of the skin. If you massage it in a bit, it absorbs and you can feel this incredible water-like hydration. I was so surprised! During a heatwave, when my face felt hot and flushed, I tried the MLE emulsion that my child had been using after a shower. My skin became so hydrated! Since then, I've been using it like a moisturizer too, haha. For the dry autumn and winter seasons, I think it would be great to use the MLE emulsion as a first layer on face and body, and then follow up with the MLE cream for thorough hydration.
The price seems a bit high for an emulsion, considering the volume. On a popular mom's app today, similar baby emulsions are priced like this: P emulsion 500ml for around 20,000 won, B emulsion 500ml for around 20,000 won, while this emulsion is 300ml for mid-20,000 won. So, make sure to buy it during a Hwahae sale!
This emulsion is great for use in summer, spring, and autumn. In winter, you might need to add extra hydration for kids' bodies. That's when the MLE cream comes in handy. It's not too heavy and doesn't irritate the kids' skin.
