Here's my review after using Atopalm MLE Emulsion for a week, starting last week. I'm a woman in my 50s with very dry skin. To provide an accurate review, I focused on applying it to my face and experienced both the pros and cons. For the first three days, I felt a slight tingling sensation when applying it to my face, possibly due to my sensitive skin. As someone with very dry skin, I found it lacked sufficient oil, so I layered it with the MLE lotion and additional oil. I didn't use any other skincare products. Surprisingly, from the fourth day onwards, the tingling sensation disappeared, and my skin felt more comfortable. The texture is quite rich for an emulsion, so it doesn't absorb immediately, but it does absorb well after a bit of massaging. It has an herbal scent. As someone who usually uses fragrance-free products, I found this scent a bit strong. However, the scent dissipates after absorption and doesn't linger.
For my very dry facial skin, it felt a bit lacking in oil content, especially during the winter months. I definitely recommend using a cream or oil along with this emulsion for the face. However, for the body, this emulsion alone provided sufficient hydration. I think this product alone would be enough for those with oily skin or teenagers.
If you want to use it on your face, I recommend combining it with an oil or cream.
