I decided to try them again since they've been recently renewed and were on sale, just as I ran out. The positives are: the gentle ingredients that don't irritate the skin, and the generous quantity of 70 pads, which is more than most other brands offer.
ConsTo be honest, I think the pre-renewal eggplant pads were much better. The downsides are: the pads themselves have a different texture now - they've become stiffer and rougher. Before the renewal, the pads were soaked with toner to the point of dripping, making them super hydrating. But now, the amount of toner feels insufficient. The combination of the rougher pads and the lack of toner creates a negative synergy that's disappointing. The pre-renewal version was far superior. It's frustrating that the price has increased by 10,000 won, yet the quality seems to have decreased. I used to love these pads for being moisturizing and gentle, but now I feel let down every time I use them.
TipI'll have to search for a place that still sells the pre-renewal product. I really love Papa Recipe, so perhaps my high expectations led to greater disappointment.
