ConsI initially bought it just because the color looked pretty, but on me, it has a slightly reddish tone?
TipIt's redder than you might expect, so apply it little by little.

A very subtle, almost non-existent scent that's barely noticeable.
ConsDo you notice how the color on my lips differs from the swatch on my fingertip? It's the same product (though I applied it as a gradient on my lips, not full coverage). I bought this after reading reviews describing it as a soft, gentle coral-red with a pink stain. But whether it's due to my naturally deep pink lips or the staining effect, when I apply it, it turns into a deep pink that surprised me. It feels almost fuchsia to me (though it might not be that extreme in reality, it just feels that way). The swatch on my finger and palm looks like a clear red, but this could be due to my natural lip color. When applied fully, it seems to have more of a coral tone, yet when I do a thin gradient, it looks more red. Then, as time passes and it's exposed to air, it seems to develop a pink stain, changing color. It's a mysterious shade that feels different each time I apply it - sometimes red, sometimes pink-tinted, sometimes I wonder if there was ever any coral in it. Personally, I'm not a fan of how Ink the Velvet applies... It emphasizes dead skin cells.
TipWhen choosing a lip color, consider your natural lip tone. Always test the lip color on your lips before purchasing.
