I bought it in February and have been using it for about four months now. The formula is a balm type with abundant hydration, and true to its "glossy" name, it's moisturizing and deeply hydrating. When you open the white cap, you'll find the glossy balm-like content isn't firm but rather soft, so you need to be careful not to break it while using. After using this product for at least a week, almost all your lip dryness concerns will be resolved. It's a tint balm that completely eliminates hydration-related issues like cracking and dead skin cells. The color payoff is good, and it lasts quite well too. It gives a subtle rosy coral tint, which is more natural and less overwhelming compared to other shades in the same line. Regarding the scent, Lux Lip products use all-natural ingredients, so they have a unique herbal smell that might be hit or miss depending on the person. While the lack of artificial fragrances means a shorter shelf life compared to other lip products, it also means it's safer for your body, right? I'd recommend this for all skin types except extremely oily skin - it's great for dry, combination, and super sensitive skin. If you're struggling with lip cracking and dryness, this is an absolute must-try!
ConsConsidering all aspects like ingredients, quantity, design, texture, and hydration, I can't think of any downsides. With its excellent ingredients, it's probably the gentlest tint balm out there.
TipThis review highlights the product's effectiveness for pregnancy-safe lip care, its natural ingredients, and its ability to address various lip concerns. The reviewer emphasizes its hydrating properties and gentle formulation, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. They also note the natural scent and shorter shelf life due to the absence of artificial preservatives, presenting these as positive attributes for those seeking a more natural product.

The color is natural and has a subtle nude tone. I bought it for the ingredients, but the color payoff is also good. This lipstick ended my search for the perfect one.
ConsThere's not really anything disappointing about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe the staying power? You need to reapply it frequently.

It comes off easily, so reapplication is necessary. Since the color is light, when I want a more reddish look, I sometimes mix it with other products that have more vibrant colors. Its glossy texture seems to blend well with other products.
ConsIt's slightly inconvenient that it comes off easily and needs reapplication, but I accept it knowing that the ingredients are good for my skin.

The reason is simple - it's all about the ingredients. I've tried both the Lip Cure Balm and Lip Cure products, but their colors were too tacky and they dried out my lips. This glossy product, however, is moisturizing and personally suits my complexion best, so I keep using it. When you buy from the official website, you can get a 3+1 deal, so I've stocked up. The color is subtle, so I use it casually like a lip balm.
ConsProbably because it uses fewer chemical ingredients, the color payoff and staying power aren't great. Even though it's called glossy, it doesn't give that pretty shine like a water-tint gloss. I've accepted this compromise because the ingredients are good. The swatch in the photo shows about 4 layers applied to the back of my hand.
TipBecause the color is light but the ingredients are good, I personally use it as a base product before applying other lip products.

It would suit those with a deep undertone complexion nicely. The hydration and staying power are decent, and I like the moderately glossy finish. Since my natural lip color is quite pale, I often use this when going out.
ConsHmm... I don't really have any specific complaints. The orange tone is quite intense, so I only apply a thin layer.

I love how it just melts onto my lips effortlessly. - Scent ★★★ Since it's made with only natural ingredients, there are no artificial fragrances, so the scent and taste aren't great. However, one reason I switched from the original Lip Cure Balm to this glossy type is that it has a milder scent, which I prefer. - Color ★★★ (may vary for individuals) The color payoff is good for me since my lips are almost colorless. I gave it 3 stars because it provides a subtle, natural tint. You can build it up for more intensity! With a thin layer, it gives a soft, my-lips-but-better look. - Hydration ★★★★★ (may vary for individuals) Being a glossy type, it feels moisturizing and slightly oily, with good hydration. It really helps soothe any dead skin cells on my lips. - Ingredients ★★★★★ It's well-known for its all-natural formula, which gives me peace of mind when using it. I've tried most of the Natural Shine lip balms since they're all made with natural ingredients, but this one is my favorite. With consistent use, it keeps my lips moisturized and prevents dead skin cells from forming. I'll definitely repurchase it. I always keep 2-3 on hand and apply it before bed and throughout the day.
ConsSince it's made with natural ingredients, the scent and taste are really unpleasant. However, the excellent ingredients make up for this, so it's not a major issue.
TipIf you're using it with other tints, try applying a darker shade to the inner part of your lips for a subtle gradient effect, then use this for a soft, muse-like color. It creates a really beautiful, alluring lip look that I often wear!

It turns out to be more moisturizing and I really like it!
ConsIt doesn't apply evenly when reapplying and tends to smudge, so you need to be careful when using it.

Even within the same 'Muse' shade, the glossy and original versions are slightly different. The glossy one appears to have a more coral-like tint. It's a color that works for both warm and cool tones, but if you have very yellow-toned skin, it might look a bit off - just apply a bit of color correction before using it.
ConsFor those who own multiple, the biggest drawback is that it's hard to distinguish between colors as the packaging looks the same. There are stickers for identification, but they tend to peel off in your makeup pouch, making all the balms look identical.

It didn't cause much dead skin cells and improved my lip condition, so I've been using it consistently ever since! I've tried Athene>Muse and then bought the glossy version, and I absolutely love it. The glossy one looks more natural and prettier than the regular Muse. I also bought the glossy Hera, which is more intense, so it looks beautiful when applied over Muse. I think I'll only buy the glossy Muse from now on - highly recommended! When I apply a darker shade before bed and wake up, it leaves a subtle tint on my lips that looks like my natural lip color, which is really pretty.
ConsWell... the non-glossy version looks nice when applied in the morning after waking up, but if you apply it when your lip color is already dark after eating or drinking something, it doesn't look as good. Update: After using this, it seems to have stained my lips except for the inner part... Once I finish this, I'd like to try a different product.

The color payoff is better than I expected. Though it's not winter yet, this color lip balm does a great job of removing dead skin cells and enhancing my natural lip color. Unlike regular lip cure balms that feel matte, this one is glossy and moisturizing without being as shiny as a lip gloss.
ConsI'm not sure how it will perform in winter. Even now in March, my lips can still get flaky and chapped if I don't apply it frequently. Since my lips tend to get very dry, I can't say for certain if the effects will be as dramatic as advertised.
