I bought it when it was on a buy-one-get-one-free deal after searching around, but for a first-time user, the price might be a significant concern.
It was expensive, and it may not work for everyone, so...

After giving birth, my hair was falling out a lot, so I mustered up the courage to buy a shampoo and scalp essence from the same line. The essence was personally very pleasing to me. 
My scalp condition had changed, with unexpected dandruff appearing and then suddenly becoming oily. I used it as an emergency treatment, and it seems to have a calming effect on my scalp. I'll have to use it for a bit longer, but I'm already quite satisfied with the current results, so I'm continuing to use it.

The only downside is that it's quite expensive. I mainly purchase it in bulk when Aesop's website has a discount.

I chose this product because my hair is fine and dry. I keep repurchasing and using it, and I'm satisfied. First, I spray it evenly on my scalp by dividing it into sections, and I feel a refreshing sensation. It's the best for soothing the scalp and having a massaging effect. Of course, I also feel like my hair has become stronger, so I highly recommend it!

After shampooing and lightly towel-drying, I part my hair with my fingers, creating grooves, and spray the product directly onto the scalp.
Then I quickly massage it in with the pads of my fingers to distribute it evenly.
I tilt my head back to prevent it from dripping down to my forehead (because we don't want that, haha)
