Before that, I used the Skin Balance Foundation and the Bourjois Healthy Mix. But after my acne exploded due to stress, whenever I applied the products I had been using, cystic acne would pop up. But then I happened to see that Isoi was having a sale, so I bought and tried this product, and it's really good. First of all, I'm so happy that I can go out with my makeup on.
And a lot of people said the longevity was not great, but it was fine for me. I went the whole day without touch-ups, and I didn't feel like it got messy and fell apart. I should have bought two when it was on sale.
----------------------------------------------------------
It's been about 2 years since I first started using this.
The sad fact is that I still haven't found another foundation that suits my skin...so I'm still using this.
The good things I've noticed from long-term use are:
Still no breakouts for me.
No feeling of heaviness.
The color matches me well.
The coverage is not bad for a natural makeup product (helps even out skin tone).
The refill option makes it more affordable with coupons and points.
The best part is that it allows me to do my base makeup...I'm so grateful for that.
First of all, it's easily damaged. If I apply it with a puff, it gets damaged too easily, so even though it's annoying, I prefer to dab it on with my fingertips.
It's drying. In the summer, my skin gets oily, but in the winter it gets extremely dry. In the winter, I mix it with a moisturizer and that works well.
It emphasizes fine lines around the eyes and settles into pores. While it was praised up there, after long-term use, I don't agree. It's especially bad in the winter. The emphasis on wrinkles.
The longevity is terrible. By the time I get off work, there's nothing left on my cheeks. Since I tend to rest my chin on my hand, it just disappears - 'Okay, I'll just let myself fade away' kind of feeling..
It clings to dry patches...(in the winter) You have to have a solid skincare routine.
In the winter, you have to mix it with a face oil, otherwise it gets extremely drying.
