I'm a cool-toned 21, and this foundation matches my natural skin tone really well. Even though I have an oily complexion, it doesn't get cakey or heavy later on - it just looks more natural. I have super sensitive, troublesome skin, so I was hesitant to try this even though I had the Estée Lauder Double Wear. But after using it a couple times, I haven't felt any discomfort or seen noticeable breakouts after cleansing. However, I can't let my guard down with this skin, so I'll keep using it and provide an update later. 2-week update: I've used it a couple more times, and every time, my pores get clogged and I get a pimple or two within half a day of wearing it. I guess my skin just can't handle foundation at all.
Cons
After applying this and then a liquid highlighter with a brush, the foundation started peeling and lifting off my skin. I thought it might be an issue with my skincare, so I tried changing that up and using it again, but it still did the same thing. It seems like the product just sits on top of my skin rather than blending in seamlessly. (Probably because they took out the 'bad' ingredients?) So I'll have to find another way to apply the highlighter, like just using my fingers to dab it on.
Tip
I have a lot of large pores and uneven texture, so I make sure to thoroughly cleanse my hands with an antibacterial hand soap before applying my makeup with my fingers. This way, I can control the amount really well and gently press it into my pores for a smooth, even finish.

The ingredients are really great, no matter what. It's so great that they've removed all the bad things and only put in good things for the skin! The Bobbi Brown stick foundation used to be my holy grail, but then I developed a shea butter allergy ㅠㅜ I've bought and thrown away so many different products over the years, but this one has great ingredients and doesn't cause any breakouts, so I'm really satisfied!! Since it's a balm type, I can just melt it with my clean fingers and apply, and it gives me the same feel as the Bobbi Brown stick foundation. I was worried because a lot of reviews said it was very drying, but as long as I apply a good skincare base, it works perfectly. I'm a warm-toned 23, and the color looks bright and natural, providing a nice skin-like coverage.
Cons
The coverage? It's just like a BB cream. It doesn't really cover, but more like a natural skin tone-up effect. You could even say it's a 'no makeup' look.
Tip

First of all, I have extremely sensitive skin, so even regular sunscreens don't work for me, and of course it's hard to find the right foundation. But this is really a fantastic product...It's amazing! It doesn't irritate my skin at all. When I apply it, OMG, it's just so great. Please don't discontinue this product, I beg you! I'm not sure about the breakout situation yet, but after using it for two days, I haven't noticed any new blemishes (I'll have to use it more to know for sure😄). For someone like me who can't even wear makeup, this foundation is a godsend!!

I took off one star because it's a bit drying ㅠㅠ I wish it was just a little more moisturizing,, I'd love if they came out with a liquid version! And the price is too high ㅠㅠㅠ

This is a fact that you can apply the cream directly after skipping the sunscreen step! I used to struggle with combination skin and breakouts, but after settling on Isoi, I hardly have any trouble with breakouts anymore - Isoi is such a kind and grateful brand for me. Especially the powder foundation has been great at controlling oil, so I didn't need to use oil blotting papers anymore, and I even found that I no longer needed to use powder foundation after using this cover fit foundation! It seems my oil-moisture balance has been restored - I'm so grateful for this product that I'm recommending it to everyone around me, and I've even got my mom to switch to this foundation as well☺️
Cons
The coverage is a bit weak! That's why my mom only uses it when she needs a light finishing touch or for minor touch-ups- I also find concealer to be essential for important occasions🤧
Tip
