I received it as a gift and had to stay somewhere else for a few days, and that place was really, really dry, but applying this morning and night meant I didn't need any masks or other products. In the morning, I lightly applied it twice, followed by a cream. In the evening, I applied it two or three times, then finished with an ampoule and cream. In fact, if I layered this a few more times, I think I could skip the ampoule. This time of year (not quite the changing seasons, but the weather feels like it's in between seasons, with both cold and heat) seems to be the most awkward period for basic skincare. Using just a cleansing toner and essence cream leaves my face feeling dry, while using a cleansing toner, essence, lotion, cream, and oil feels too heavy. This product seems to be just right! They say you don't need to use a toner, lotion, cream, and oil separately, but I think it varies from person to person. For me, the cleansing cream essence is not too heavy. These three aspects were just perfect for me. And I think this product is truly a cream essence. It's clearly different from other products marketed as 'cream essence'. When you apply it, it feels too light to be called a cream essence, but after application, it becomes rich and moisturizing, yet non-sticky, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. Most importantly, during the short period of use, I noticed that my dehydration concerns were gradually improving. As the dehydration improved, my skin irritation also subsided. Even when I do a thorough basic skincare routine, my skin tends to become dry and itchy over time, but using this product has delayed the onset of that dryness and itchiness. Overall, this seems to be a really well-formulated product.
