It doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling, which makes it great for facial use
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather much. The fragrance might also be hit or miss for some people

While low pH is supposed to be good for the skin, I often avoided them because they left a slippery feeling, as if I hadn't rinsed properly. However, this soap, despite being low pH, leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It's not squeaky clean like with foam cleansers, but rather a perfect balance of moisturized yet fresh. It might sound contradictory, but 'hydrated & fresh' is the most accurate description.
ConsSurprisingly, the ingredients aren't that great. I initially used it only on my face, but when I tried it for showering, my skin felt so soft I didn't even need body emulsion. I wanted to keep using just this soap, which is disappointing.
TipIt's expensive in Korea, so buy it directly from overseas!

As someone with super sensitive combination skin, even highly-praised products can cause my face to break out the next day if they don't suit me. However, Sebamed products worked well without any issues, so I decided to try their soap too. I usually can't use just any cleansing foam, but Sebamed soap was fine! It doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling at first, which made me wonder if it was actually cleansing, but I think that's why it doesn't cause any deep dryness. Thanks to this, my small blemishes disappeared and I've received many compliments on how clear my skin looks!
ConsApart from the fact that the soap doesn't lather up very well, there's nothing particularly disappointing about it.
TipMany reviews mention that the soap gets soft easily. Instead of leaving it on a soap dish, use a magnetic soap holder. If you stick the soap in there, it absolutely won't soften. This also greatly extends its lifespan!

Being low pH, it definitely leaves no tightness after cleansing and keeps the skin hydrated. If you prefer that squeaky clean feeling, you might find it a bit lacking. I've never seen a cleanser that makes the skin as soft as this one, no matter how hydrating the foam or cleanser claims to be. When wearing makeup, it's really great to use as a second cleanser after using cleansing oil or water. Some people say it doesn't lather well, but if you use a foam net that's easily available at drugstores, you can create rich lather for a thorough cleanse. I've tried various low pH cleansers like Nu Skin soap, Biore low pH foam, Innisfree low pH foam, etc., but this one is much more affordable and performs well, so I've settled on this product (best value for money). Although it's a soap type which can be inconvenient, I always come back to using it even after trying foams or other types of products. When I switch cleansers, my skin becomes extremely dry and my skin texture worsens, so I can't use anything else... I buy 5-6 at a time online and use them continuously (I even order from overseas if necessary). If I had to recommend a skincare product I use, I think I would recommend this soap the most.
Cons1. It's a soap..... Being a soap, you have to be mindful of it getting soggy. You must use it on a soap dish with good drainage. It's also most inconvenient when traveling or needing to pack it somewhere. Since my skin tends to become more sensitive when traveling, I'm reluctant to use substitutes, so I pack it in a soap case. The form is definitely inconvenient. 2. Accessibility It's difficult to buy easily offline. I always order online, which means I have to stock up on several at once and it's hard to buy quickly when in a hurry. It's a product that requires a bit of effort and attention as you're about to run out. Other than that, the price is reasonable and I have no complaints about its functionality.
Tip1. If you use a foam net (about $2) soaked with plenty of water, you can create very rich lather for cleansing. 2. If you create sufficient lather with a foam net and leave it on your face for about 5 minutes like a mask, your skin feels more hydrated and your skin texture seems more refined (be careful not to get it in your eyes...). 3. It's great for a light morning cleanse. 4. To prevent it from getting too soft and to use it for longer, place it on a soap dish that allows water drainage. I found the sponge soap dish from Daiso to be the best!
