With its optimal pH level, this moisturizer applies and absorbs easily. While it's not a flashy hydrating cream, it's a reliable one that effectively protects your skin barrier. No issues with sensitivity either. It might not provide sufficient hydration, especially during winter months. If your skin is extremely dry, this alone may not be enough and you might need an occlusive layer. Apply to your skin after using toner and serum. Not recommended before makeup as it feels heavy. Might be better to apply in the evening. The scent is not great... It smells like old-fashioned cosmetics, reminiscent of my mom's. During the dry winter months, I applied this cream without an emulsion and experienced no tightness. It's gentle enough to use without causing any blemishes. Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich, but it should be satisfying for combination to dry skin types. It felt like it sank in quickly...? It wasn't exactly moisturizing or cooling, but I got a strong sense that it soaked right in and tackled dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't feel particularly dry when I only applied this after my toner and hydrating serum. It was more hygienic to use than a jar-type moisturizer! However, the amount dispensed with one pump was more than expected, so you need to adjust accordingly. The scent... oh no. I don't think it agreed with me at all. It's quite moisturizing without making my face look greasy. I really love the scent too - it's fresh and pleasant! It has a sort of European vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Even in winter, it provides excellent hydration. If you look at the before and after photos, you can see that the redness on my face and emerging blemishes have noticeably reduced! The fragrance is more long-lasting and noticeable than expected. If you're not a fan of this particular scent, it might be a bit overwhelming and uncomfortable. After applying all your skincare including your moisturizer, finish with this cream as the last step. It leaves your skin feeling wonderfully soft yet hydrated!
