I have dry, sensitive skin prone to closed comedones. My skin is so sensitive that I do daily skincare and constantly worry about breakouts. When I do get acne, it's usually the hard, cystic type. Vitamin-based and brightening products (like Numbuzin and Goodal Tangerine) all cause blemishes for me, and products high in oil (like Dr.G Snail and most toners) also trigger breakouts. I've had success using ISOI Blemish Care Serum, Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Serum, Anua Heartleaf Toner, Dr.G Red Blemish Cream, Wellage, and Normal No More Blue line. Texture: What's great is you can adjust it to your skin type. Regardless of whether you have oily or dry skin, you can mix the Intense Cream and Aqua Serum. It's also fantastic because it can adapt not just to your skin type, but to how your skin feels day-to-day. The Intense Cream lives up to its name with a rich texture, while the Aqua Cream feels soft and hydrating. Packaging: I love that the spatula has its own storage space. Many brands include a spatula, but few provide a place to keep it. Being able to store the spatula inside the container is so convenient and hygienic. Scent: The fragrance is wonderful. I've never smelled canola flowers, but I imagine this is what they'd smell like. It's a pleasant scent that's neither overpowering nor too heavy. Sometimes scented products can have a strong color association, but this one has such a subtle, lovely fragrance that it makes me think of a soft yellow.
Irritation: It was a bit irritating for my skin. I tried mixing the Intense Cream and Aqua Cream in 1:1 and 1:2 ratios, but both were slightly irritating. I usually experience irritation with firming products (like Rejuran and retinol), so I was curious about this Dalba cream, but it also caused some irritation. It might be fine for those who aren't sensitive to firming products. It feels nourishing on my skin, but I'm cautious about using it too much. Stickiness: It's quite sticky. Even when reducing the amount of Intense Cream, it remains sticky, so I recommend it for nighttime care. The stickiness does seem to correlate with a firming effect, but those who dislike sticky textures might find it uncomfortable. The stickiness does improve a bit over time. Price: It's a bit on the expensive side!
I wouldn't recommend this for those with very sensitive skin. While it didn't suit my skin, I could tell it's a high-quality product. I highly recommend it for those with normal skin types and up! If you think it might be too irritating for daily use, I'd suggest using it as a special night treatment.
