ProsI've tried Dalba's skincare, sun care, and body care products, and I've never been disappointed with their quality. So I had high expectations for their [White Truffle Double Serum and Cream] too. After using it for a week in various combinations, I was once again amazed by their innovative idea and product effectiveness.
💘 Excellent case details (connecting middle lid, spatula storage)
💘 Can be combined for use according to the season and daily skin condition
💘 Suitable for dry to combination skin types due to the two formulas
💘 Not irritating to the skin (may vary individually)
First off, even if the idea is good, the actual use could be just average. But this cream's case is so well-made, I was surprised while using it! The spatula holder in the middle lid is great, and I gave a big thumbs up to the Dalba team when I saw how securely it was attached.
The biggest advantage of this cream is that you can customize it to your liking! Usually, we use different skincare products depending on the season and skin condition, but Dalba's 'White Truffle Double Serum and Cream' is great because you can use it daily all year round.
Especially for me with dry skin, I can't use very light gel-cream formulas even in midsummer. But Dalba's serum part has just the right amount of hydration, so mixing serum:cream = 2:1 was perfect for summer use.
🟡 The yellow serum part feels like a concentrated serum, absorbs well, and has excellent application
⚪️ The white cream part is a gentle, smooth moisturizer that properly fulfills its role as a cream
Cons⚡️ On the pricier side
⚡️ Some product is wasted during the mixing process
⚡️ A 6:4 serum to cream ratio would be better
While the case, texture, and application are good, justifying the price, it might be too expensive for daily use. It would be great if they made refills that could be inserted into the existing case.
When mixing as intended, some product inevitably spreads to the sides and feels wasteful. Even though it's 70g, more than other creams, you end up using more because of the mixing process, and a lot remains on the back of your hand.
Even though I have dry skin, I could feel the richness of the cream. When using, the texture felt better when I mixed in more than half serum! So the serum part runs out faster, which is a shame since it's split 50/50. We usually use more serum than cream in our skincare routine anyway. I wish the ratio was adjusted to about 6:4 serum to cream.
Tip🍯 Instead of mixing with your fingers or spatula, it's better to mix it in your palm and then press and spread it over your entire face!
🍯 Recommended ratios:
Summer > Serum:Cream = 2:1
Fall~Winter > Serum:Cream = 1:1
