The price is incredibly reasonable, and with its generous length and sturdy consistency, one purchase lasts quite a while. Although the Light Brown isn't particularly light, I find myself reaching for it more often than the regular Brown I also bought. It applies smoothly even over brightening moisturizer, making it a staple in my makeup routine. I wish the shade was a bit lighter. Despite being called Light Brown, it's not really that light. It would be great if they could expand this line with a wider range of shades. Apart from the color, everything else about this product is fantastic! For easier application and better-defined brows, try grooming your eyebrow hairs first before using this product. - ap***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2025
I was surprised by the color at first, but I'm tough! I've been using it on my aegyo sal (under-eye area). They should really release this as a thin formula specifically for aegyo sal - it would be amazing! Hmm... This is absolutely not suitable for those with dark eyebrows like mine. If you have black eyebrows, steer clear of this product! - db********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 5, 2023
I prefer wooden pencils over auto ones. Auto pencils wear down quickly, break easily, and can make eyebrows look chunky like Shin-chan's. I've tried Etude and others before, but Missha's is affordable, applies smoothly, and has just the right color! I used to use dark brown, but switched to this when I lightened my hair. Even now with darker brown hair, I'm still using it! It's not as light as I expected, making it perfect for subtly enhancing your brow color. The downside of wooden pencils is the need for sharpening. However, since it doesn't get soft, you don't need to sharpen it often and can use it for quite a while. You can get it for around 3000 won on Coupang, which is a great deal. Highly recommended! - ye*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2023
It glides on smoothly and easily, with decent staying power. The brush at the end is a convenient touch. The colors in this line are more intense than expected. They might be too dark for those with lightly dyed hair. - xx*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRednessSep 4, 2020
The wide range of color options compared to other products is a plus. Other than that, I can't think of anything specific to mention. As someone who prefers firmer wood brow products, I find this one too soft. I've sharpened the hard formula, and you can see in the photo that, perhaps due to its lower price, the wood grain and sharpening experience are quite different from higher-end products. It's not really suitable for sharpening into a chisel shape; it's better to use a regular pencil sharpener. The lead is so soft that it breaks easily. While the color payoff is good, if you're not careful with the pressure, you'll end up with cartoon-like eyebrows. The staying power is poor, so it wears off easily. - dj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2020
This is such an amazing product! I'm so glad I stocked up on three of them in case it's been discontinued. The color blends seamlessly with dark hair without looking out of place, and the staying power is impressive. While sharpening the wooden pencil can be a bit of a hassle, it's definitely worth the extra effort for such a great product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2018
It looks natural even on dark hair, easy to apply, and has great color payoff I keep getting blemishes only on my eyebrows... It seems my skin doesn't agree with the ingredients. Strangely, the black version of the same product doesn't cause any issues, but the light brown one gives me at least three blemishes every time. The pencil cap keeps coming off, which is really frustrating. I've never even dropped it, but the lid constantly opens in my makeup bag, which is so annoying. It's irritating to open my bag to touch up my makeup and first see cosmetics smeared everywhere, and then have to search for the lost cap. I'm deducting one star because of the cap issue and another for the blemishes it causes. - ma**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2017
Combination (dehydrated)/Sensitive/Chin blemishes+Redness Application: ★★★★ Unlike other products that don't apply well over makeup due to oiliness, this one glides on effortlessly. The application is incredibly smooth. (The ease of application alone makes this product worth buying) Longevity: ★★★★ Impressive staying power. Despite how easily it applies, it doesn't wear off quickly. Blemishes: None User experience: ★★★★ I have dyed hair and typically use a slightly darker pencil brow product. This product alone is fantastic and applies so well that I highly recommend it. I've never been fully satisfied with tattoo-like products or other pencil brows as they don't apply well over makeup and lack longevity. However, this product, which I bought as a 1+1 deal, seems like one I'll actually use up completely. Definitely a product worth recommending! Planning to repurchase! Absolutely love it! The ingredients... (However, it doesn't cause major blemishes, and the application/longevity are great...) Using a pencil brow product one shade darker than your hair color, followed by a lighter mascara brow, can make your eyebrows appear fuller and last longer - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 14, 2017
It really draws well, doesn't smudge, and was quite affordable when I bought it on sale. Overall, it's pretty good. Honestly, being a pencil is a hassle when you're in a rush and need to sharpen it. I know it's partly my fault for not preparing it the night before, but it's still frustrating! The real issue is that it keeps breaking every time I sharpen it. After using it up once, I ended up throwing away half of the remaining product without really using it. I'm not sure if it's just my product, if this type of formula is problematic, or if there's something wrong with my technique, but I was really annoyed. Even now, I'm writing this review because I got frustrated while sharpening it. - so*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 17, 2017
I've been using Chanel's eyebrow kit for years, but I decided to try this one for its affordable price. I'm pleasantly surprised! It glides on smoothly and has great staying power, which I'm really happy about. I wanted a light brown shade, and the color payoff is just what I was looking for. It's another reminder that expensive doesn't always mean better! Having to sharpen it is a bit of a hassle. On the bright side, I don't have to clean a brush anymore, so that's one less thing to worry about. Overall, I'm satisfied and will continue using it. I've been sharpening it like I used to with my Shu Uemura pencil, and I'm impressed that it doesn't break easily. It's holding up well!
