The ingredients are a bit disappointing. I don't think I could apply this to areas with blemishes.

It's incredibly rich! I think only those with truly dry skin could use this. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I only applied it to my eye and mouth areas which are very dry. While it doesn't absorb particularly well, it forms an oil barrier that definitely locks in moisture. This is the most effective product I've tried for my eye area.
